Bumping this up, he’s had a tough start, but grabbing the equaliser and a cool pen. Credit to the lad today. Will do him a world of confidence, him and a few others

Also what conveniently got overlooked that despite the noise about the Gym workouts, social media posts, the Tatts,  gangster style drive alongs and Instagram photos, when interviewed last night despite the language barrier, he came across as a well spoken, well mannered young man.

The response, a giggling Karen Carney "It just makes me laugh when I hear them say our gaffer". Silly, facile  bitch.

Don't think many people would have come up with "Trippier" as the answer to Bob's question "Who feeds Mudryk?" ... LOL

Excellent

Having watched it again, it was a better finish than people gave him credit for. We have seen easier chances been missed, he took it well. No need to feed Mudryk, just pick off scraps from Trippier

Didn't stop the mindless oaf Redknapp commenting that it was a scuffed shot and got lucky. Pen1s

Deserves a MOTM on the interview after alone! I’ve never seen such a deer-in-the-headlights “ah sh*te how do you talk English again” interview, though he did speak slightly better than Petrovic!

When all else fails and you’re new to the country, just go with the Samual Eto’o route….

That`s because he`s a thick tedious cretinous f**kwit.

Was it Zola that JT taught to swear?

Karen Carney is absolutely f**king awful. Only reason she's on there is due to "positive descrimination".

I love Roy Keane's body language whenever he has to sit next to her as a co-pundit. You can tell he is battling to restrain himself from telling her she's clueless.

I think you meant the other way round

I think the story is Dennis Wise taught Zola. I think JT told foreign speakers to call people geezer (David Luiz, Costa)

Sorry, meant to put Wise. JT carried on the lovely tradition...

I don’t think the manager is using him to his strengths.. he is asking him to take on players which he can do occasionally not as default..

also it is fashionable to take down Chelsea players.. there is also Anthony who does much less and cost much more and his older but gets away with it.

had we gotten a proper striker and a LB this guy would have many more assists.

He is playing as lw high.

At his best around the penalty area, but struggles when he is just above the half way line and expected to take players on. Tends to over run the ball instead of trying a little lay off to keep possession for the team.

Yeah .. poch needs to fix this for all our forward line - it never sticks for us upfront- Sterling / madueke/ Mudryk all are expected to complete take ons .. the weird one is how do we do this without isolating them with their fullbacks.. we hardly try the switch of balls to help them.. or overload the opposite flank to draw defenders away..

its almost as if we are asking them to play counter attacking football in possession

I am confused. Where do you want poch to put Mudryk?

Why are you confused, it was a simple and perfectly logical post.

I don't understand.

He said Mudryk is expected to complete his take on? Of course.

"the weird one is how do we do this without isolating them with their fullbacks"

Nope. There is no instructions that you need to do 1 v 3. You can always pass.

I don't understand what does he want Mudryk to be able to do?

Surely isn't he correctly stating that we are not providing enough alternative options so those players such as Mudryk are expected to counter attack when the opposition are not stretched so nothing sticks because they are trying to plough through 2, 3 and 4 defenders until they eventually lose possession.  Which is a valid point and was evidenced on numerous occasions last night, often with the players dribbling infield into traffic.

Mudryk dribbling infield into traffic is not tactical problem, that is more decision making/skill problem.

But I thought you were confused. Evidently not. Just make your post mate rather than trying to undermine other posters when they make comments

I think he is playing in the right position but the tactical instructions or set up don’t seem to align for me.

Clearly poch wants him to utilise skill and pace to beat his man and create dangerous situations.

but I don’t see us creating enough situations for our forwards where they are isolated with their  fullbacks in the opposition

I don’t understand why this is confusing you ?
