I'm just going to guess that the ego of the owners won't allow that name into consideration...

There's serious rumours about PSG wanting to rehire Tuchel, despite his falling out with the board. Hopefully Boehly can see sense like them as well and has one more hijack left in him

I only heard about him yesterday, how do his teams play?

River's most successful manager ever. Linked to Barcelona (before appointing Xavi) and now linked with Leeds (to which rumors are suggesting he will turn down for a better offer). Possession oriented and a very effective attacking minded coach. Loves to dominate the opposition half/box. Good at structuring a defense as well.

Not to mention he nurtured Enzo Fernandez.

Up and coming for sure. A risk in how he handles the PL though.

The so called Muñeco is an iconic manager, I saw an article talking about how PSG might be interested in him since after it was announced that he'll leave River, the PSG official twitter congratulated him for his success almost out of the blue.

Yeah my cousin in law is a Boca fan and aside the animosity he respects the hell out of him and was happy he left River.

Not sure how his coaching translates in Europe, but he definitely is a high risk/high reward option.

Can't say I've seen/heard much bar the Enzo analysing games I downloaded but it's a bit worrying he only won one league in 8 years for River.

*River

Funny you brought that up as this was a concern of mine as well that I brought up to my cousin and he put it down to River being stripped of their best players season after season. Gellardo is one of the best at developing players in South America.

I think there were rumors of our interest in Sporting’s manager Amorim before Potter got the job. Maybe we would go back in for him. I think our best bet could be to appoint an interim, such as we did Hiddink back in the 15/16 season.

My answer is the same as it was in September. Plus this is an absolute bargain:

Are you Sir Michael (1979) by any chance?

Is this who we would personally like to have or who we think realistically comes in. From looking at the results before voting it appears its the latter. Funny this sport, its humbling not just the winning and the losing, but also the opinions we formulate. I for one didn't want TT sacked, but when I heard Poch and Potter were the front runners I just assumed it would be Poch and I wasn't impressed it felt like a very uninspiring appointment. Flash forward 6 months down the line and do I regret my thinking towards Poch, is he a world class coach debatable he does have the same top 5 league title TT (albeit TT won it twice) had before he joined us. I think a few on here also disregarded Poch, but now we accept perhaps we were too quick to dismiss what clearly would be a solid option for the club compared to bless him Potter who's really struggling and out of his depth. Just look at him at the start of his tenure vs now, maybe I'm reading too much into it but he looks broken and aged in such a short time.

To answer the poll I'll probably go with Pochettino for realistic and dream target well it would have to be the man who deserves it the most. Loyalty is everything and Thomas gave us that so Tuchel

Some on here are beating their chest about "being right" about Potter.

However the only one on here I would trust to take over is the one with managerial experience and success.

If they do sack Potter, my vote is for @Zeta

Unfortunately, I think I look a little but like Potter at first glance, at the moment. So I'd have to shave the beard lest people think it's still him.

This thread is too son, gives me false hope that Potter will not be at the sideline this weekend. If we go for an interim, even Lampard will do a job to motivate the players and set the standard. For a long term appointment ( 15M a year for 8 years), Poch be the obvious choice. He has the experience in the league, able to go above and beyond, able to manage big name players, football is not bad either. Considering 3 ex-Chelsea managers went to them, it's about time they give us 1 back.

I'd rather we never went down the club legend route even on an interim basis.

Lampard with this same season and he'd still get cheered to the rafters.

The problem is there are no world class managers availible atm. If carlo Ancelotti was free tomorrow I would be ecstatic but it's a shame that the most appealing option is Mou 3.0. I don't want Poch or Enrique anywhere near this club. They are specialists in failure and would've done something at Spurs/PSG and Barca/Spain if they were any good. I'm seriously afraid our best option is sticking with Potter.

We would get you a good PR guy/spin Master. Bound to be one of those on here...

So an Argentinian Potter with even less European experience?
