There were no disagreements over who should be in charge of transfers or which players should or should not be sold. The differences are explained as being more philosophical and relate to the dynamics of working within a club structure. (@Matt_Law_DT)

Clearly the two clowns we have both in the board room and the two with the cash.. are hell bent on ruining this club..

Can we just one time do a sensible thing? Is it so much to ask? Not that Pochettino is the worlds greatest coach or anything but we were on track, the players backed him and we are craving for some bloody stability.

I don't agree with Poch's sacking but De Zerbi is being criminally underrated here

 

Last season Brighton were

 

4th in average possession (we're 5th)

5th in shots per game (we're 9th)

6th least shots faced per game (we're 14th)

 

All with a far, far inferior squad to what we have. He'll surprise people if he comes here.

Well, back to square one. Another season of ''it's a new process, it'll take time'' and all that good stuff.

Swear most were saying he wasn’t a winner but “will do for now”, might as well bin him off now then really. He got the job on an expired reputation and was lucky to get it, he’s clearly tried to be billy big bollocks in the board meeting and demand a big say over transfers! What do you expect?

I’m not sad to see him go. He’s been sh*te most of season, he got lucky the Cucurella role worked so well and he was forced to do that due to injuries.

Lets bring Tuchel back.

The owners are a joke.

Poch probably did as well as he could dealing with a scattergun recruitment approach for Winstanley and Stewart.

Those two should have been shown the door before the manager.

Id imagine a few of our players will want out now too.

I do agree about him stumbling across the Cucurella role by luck rather than him being a good tactician.

Shocked and surprised.. But not as gutted as i should be.
I still cant get over the cup final bottling by Poch, we had the rats by the bollox and he blew it tactically big time, and from then on i thought he wasn't the 'next level' we need.
And i just can't get the 'Spursy' thought out of my head, he couldn't even win the French league FFS !!
Whoever comes next has a seriously promising squad to play with, i hope it's someone with some steel and a tactical vision.
 

He f**ked himself. Always know your place and he over stepped the mark with them (clearly) and asked for all kinds of say over transfers (most managers have no clue anyway). And it’s backfired.

None would fill you with confidence, the profile of manager a mid table club would go. I know nothing about any of their personalities but I suspect they will face many of the same issues as Potter did

What if it takes another 9 months for the next guy to figure out a good system? Another season down the drain.

Because its mutual this tells me he walked, he knows the structure is wrong and the sporting directors and owners have no clue. He is aware a bad season with us next year will harm his reputation.

Between the club and Pochettino who really came out of last season looking better? The coach who took us from 12th to 6th (back into Europe).

Or the club who continue with a scattergun approach and hit gold with a last minute wonder kid signing who saved our season?

I am worried, because we had an opportunity for the first time to stabilise and they chose to rip it up again. How many years of chaos must we endure?!

Yikes, that's awful. Stuttgart's manager is alright but the rest are a huge downgrade
