The one thing I was worried about was his frame but he looks bigger than I thought before and with league 2 defenders it will be very physical and he dealt with that well. 

Looking forward to him next season!!

Jackson, Broja and, in a pinch, Nkunku as striker options. Happy with that.

He is very good technically, can receive long balls, come short, brings other players into the game, times his jumps well, and beautiful finish today.  What is not to like for such a young player - I want to see him starting up top with Nkunku behind. 

So it’s early days and early days in pre season, but having watched the highlights we may have found a gem with this lad.

Loved the celebration from the group for Mudryks goal as well.

I am prone to getting overly excited by players in pre season, but one thing I really like is he seems to have a big personality and is gelling with the team. Saw him having a good chat with Mudryk post game about movements. Nothing not to lik so far about him on the pitch either. 

Oh and the finish for his goal. Finally we have a player who knows how to hit a finish. 

We all know what Havertz would have done in that position.

Early days ofcourse but the early signs are we're going to get our rewards for sourcing actual stylistic fits as opposed to just looking at a strikers goalstats and signing them up.

I like how he is willing to involve other players around him, he looks great both while having his back towards the goal and while making runs too. The Morata we never had...

I like him, he brings other players into the game nicely. Also, for once, he's a forward that doesn't really have a lot of pressure, no huge price tag, no big hype job. Nobody really knew much about him, which is a change from our usual forward signings. This is a much wiser decision than signing those two bums from the Serie A. 

Please for the love of god give him #11 and not #9.

He was #15 at his previous club, so if he is keen on retaining that, then I'd offer #11 to Mudryk, to free up #15 for Jackson. #9 for Broja, to free up #18 for Nkunku. #7 for Madueke (or Olise if we are signing him as first choice RW). #26 for Colwill obviously ... 🙂

Nah retire that #9 kit and burn it to the ground.

11 to Mudryk makes sense and Drogba had the 15 before switching so...

Give Jackson the 11 so he can become another king.

Great goal and movement again last night. Tall, fast and strong. Takes you back really... 🥳

Not to mention his pressing. His ability on the ball - technically good and with some flair. Lastly he just seems like a likable charachter. 

Could be a massive scoop this one.

I'm so excited for the season knowing we signed this man. I never want to see us spend over £40m on a striker again.
