Think it’s a reaction to the incompetence that happened to Wolves against United. They have gone the other way too far now.

Or he's not a terribly good ref. Last season he floated between the PL and Championship. Only reffed 11 games in all over the season.

Shows how toxic our fanbase is that loads on social media and other forums used that penalty to show how terrible a keeper Sanchez is, when it was blatantly a complete load of bollocks by the ref. It was a joke decision.

He’s probably not but he gave that penalty simply because of the Onna missed penalty. No way it was penalty yesterday but he absolutely gave it because of that. Had they done their jobs then this wouldn’t have been a penalty.

Social media especially Twitter is full of “fan” and I say that lightly who sway with the wind. Sterling was getting so ouch abuse every post by the club would have majority of the comments “ sell Sterling” “ When is Sterling leaving” now all those have stopped but I expect them to start as soon as he has a bad game.

The target now is Cucu.

99.99% of them are foreign and have no clue what they are talking about.

That’s exactly my approach you can tell my the first few words they are idiots, unfortunately for our players unless they switch off all social media which I would encourage greatly they will inevitably see some of these comments.

The players are counselled about social media, its pluses and minuses. In addition, they would recognise a d*ckhead when they spot one. I do. Usually.

I see nothing in Sanchez.  Maybe collecting crosses, but thats it.

He has faced 11 shots on target in the PL this season and conceded 5 goals.  Doesn't get close to them.  The shots saved (from memory) were hardly troubling.  A keeper with a 50% save ratio is borderline charity goalkeeping.

Worst part of this transfer window for me, apart from not signing a striker, is signing him for this insane price tag while selling Mendy on the cheap and letting Kepa leave on loan.

Sanchez looks like a back-up goalkeeper of a mid-table PL side. Which is exactly what he was at Brighton before we signed him to be our number 1 GK.

We can only hope that Petrovic is going to be an improvement over him or we are doomed this season.

Feels like Kepa or Mendy would have stopped that Forest shot. The whole point of having a good keeper in teams that dominate possession like us is that they will turn up when the other team gets their one or two chances all game. If you're always going to concede when those one or two chances come then what's the point? Sanchez hasn't looked promising for me so far and I hope Petrovic gets a run after the International break.

I never really understood this transfer unless he was a backup keeper. A downgrade on Kepa even. Perhaps that explains why Poch is playing the defensive set up.

Kepa wouldn’t ave got anywhere near forest goal he’s a foot shorter he didn’t look good for Madrid when I watched them poor punch they scored and blown up for foul on kepa which it wasn’t give Sanchez a chance he looks better than kepa

Disagree, Kepa's strengths were his shot-stopping ability to dive beyond his limited height. Most of his weaknesses came from crosses, catching the ball, and aerial control. I'm not a fan of Kepa but it feels like we've just traded him for someone that is better at his weaknesses but worse at his strengths.

Like I say give the man a chance we give kepa 4 years and he’s still crap and cost 3 times as much kepa is worst I was always on edge with kepa in goal

Be careful what you wished for. I never understood Kepa hate he was a good shot stopper yes he was suspect on crosses but he’s better than what we have now. We have upgraded to a worst keeper 🤣🤣

Oh Jesus. Kepa another player "hated"? Cucurella "hated". Sterling "hated".

For God's sake fella will you get a feckin grip!

This keeper is not the problem.

The attack is the problem. I can't criticise a keeper if he's the difference between a 1 0 loss and a 0 0 stalemate week in week out.

I guarantee that with Kepa in goal, our season so far practically remains the same. A keeper wins you games but you're attack wins you more.

Ridiculous, you are comparing a keeper who had several seasons with us, to a keeper who has played 4 games.

Kepa wasn't 5'6.
