Given our lack of options makes sense he would be there instead of say Sutter. Manager was also right the Broja has been out a long time and will need lots of time to get his sharpness back. Might be a hard ask giving him 15 minutes while we chase an equalizer.

He’s probably the most natural finisher we have, be great if he can lift the attack and install confidence in others, sure it will take weeks to get back into it and no guarantees he will make the mark, but it’s some morsel of comfort in these truly depressing times.

Aye I like how Broja leads the line. Physical, had pace before the injury, willing to do the dirty work and a handful.

Madueke is a better creative player and will maybe be a better goalscorer than Sterling. You can easily draw comparison between Mahrez and Madueke. They are probably similar. And Mahrez starts ahead of Sterling at City, so why is Madueke not starting ahead of Sterling at Chelsea?

Caicedo probably not fit, throw Ugo in if he's not. Palmer and Jackson goals, Mudryk masterclass. 3-2 villa. I don't know about the score and given Caicedo is pretty doubtful I'd have Lesley in there but otherwise I think it's obvious that's the team that should start. Pretty much equally obvious its not the team that will start.
September 23, 20232 yr We should play a low block . Apparently it's impossible to score against and our speedy attack can score loads on the break. Deffo play it against Brighton and thrash em. What could go wrong ?

Weeks is imo too optimistic. Half a season is probably the best scenario

You can see the mentality of these Chelsea fans and the management. So many of these people don't know how to have success in football. Do many of the fans even want Chelsea to have success? No disrespect but what kind of ridiculous analysis is that. If you honestly believe that some Chelsea fans want anything but Chelsea to succeed then you’re not a Chelsea fan, period. I don’t know the what are the goals or visions of Chelsea management, and I can’t speak for Chelsea fans, but the reason why sterling is starting because he is the best on current form. All the goals scoring threat comes from his side. You can’t compare Chelsea with city, as much as I hate to say it, because as Chelsea fan I believe Chelsea to be a bigger and better club than city, is that city is better run and much better in recruitment than us. What I can tell you is right now is the moment where pocchetino should prove if he is the world class manager that was hyped up during spurs days or a flop. This season Chelsea fans should give him time to implement his vision and then judge him properly in the next season.
September 23, 20232 yr I had a dream that Jackson scored a beauty from outside the box cutting in from the left. I rarely ever dream about football or remember any of it so it must be a forecast!

Ollie Watkins is awaiting his first goal this season as well. Now we know what that normally means, but John McGuin loves playing us. Which one to pick one @Zetaputs up the predictions thread.
September 23, 20232 yr Looking at the table, a win against Villa is vital. A draw or loss and we are truly f**ked! This game could make a massive difference!
