Noni should have been on for Palmer

I actually don't think he should have played at all for this game. Criticising the player public for a breach of club discipline (correctly) is then undermined if you put him on the pitch in the next game. For the time remaining he could have put any other player on and the message would have had more resonance

Hopefully the 3 players that picked up knocks/injuries are ok.

Good to see Mudryk get that goal, henis steadily improving.

What a difference having someone with vision and quality on the right makes in Palmer. Broja was immense, a proper leader of the line.

Cucurella spot on again. The Enzo and Caicedo pivot finally and they looked great too.

Top performance.

Ah great to look over a match day thread where 2 players are getting pelters for being rubbish or called clowns only for them to turn it around and the comments go quite.

Great job by both Broja and Mudryk coming back for uncomfortable starts to win us the game.

Was so funny to read but justified especially with Mudryk. He did not look like an 80m footballer before that goal. Giving the ball away from a pass way too short, kicking it out of play on the dribble and shooting over the bar. All 3 attacking fundamentals were really poorly executed at league 2 standard. Made up for it with the goal, although massive credit to Levi for that. Hope he can push on and make more game defining moments in the final third.

Cucurella is only available now because we supposedly made the mistake of playing him in the Cup against Wimbledon. In hindight that now looks like a great decision as he has so far grabbed the opportunity at Left Back. Will be interesting to see what Poch does, once Gusto is available again. With Chilwell out I wonder if a resurgent Cucurella will move to LB?

I wasn’t so starry eyed on Broja. Skied a good chance, otherwise was ok without really distinguishing g himself. Does have the strength and pace required

I really think that Broja will come good.  He is strong, has two good feet (admittedly belied by the early good (offside) chance into row Z) decent balance and can also pick out a pass. Let's give him time to properly return to match fitness, as was nearly a year out of action.

The mood one here this morning has improved massively,  For me it was just looking at the League table and seeing us 11th instead of 15th 🥳 . We MUST capitalise on this performance and soundly beat Burnley at the weekend.

When I woke up this morning I felt more cheerful. Amazing what a win can do for the psyche! Pleasepleaseplease let us kick on now.

Was expecting a harder match, but we looked in complete control from minute 1.

Very happy for Mudryk and I hope his knock is nothing serious.

Palmer was superb and will prove to be such an inspired transfer.

Moises Caicedo - I was one of those who during the transfer process said that the cost is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things because he is the type of player that can transform a football club. He was great last night and for me already one of the best defensive midfielders in world football. Will very soon make Kante look like a distant memory.

Last but not least - hopefully this is the end of Sterling as a starter.

It was good seeing Caicedo playing the way he did yesterday. That was the Brighton player we bought. He dominated that midfield. Looked assured in possession and won his duels well. I really want to see Colwill have a run at CB but his performance at LB yesterday was brilliant. Defensively and most noteably offensively he was immense. His passing is out of this world. Despite all the players bought it was also good to see that 3 of the starters yesterday were from the academy. Broja, Colwill and Gallagher, when there was a realistic chance that all three could of been playing elsewhere this summer especially the latter. It shows what hard work does. Cowill was assured about his game time if he does well and has started every league game. Same with Gallagher.

So refreshing not to have a Chelsea result ruin my weekend but instead make Monday for once enjoyable (as Monday's are normally as enjoyable as a kick in the bollocks!)

Thought the whole side played well and it would be hard to drop anyone for the next game, even if we have players returning from injury / suspension. Thought Silva and Colwill were both brilliant, Gallagher led by example and would probably still be running about and throwing himself into tackles now he has that much energy and desire. Caicedo is improving all the time and Enzo is class. Shame Mudryk had to go off early as although he started a bit iffy, he took the goal well and you could see the relief and then the confidence in him and again, I expect him to build on that. Good to see Broja bag a goal and he did well after such a long time out and then MOTM Palmer - what a bargain we have picked up there. The lad looks class. Even Cucurella had a decent game and only Disasi is the player I still have doubts about - never looks comfortable on the ball, but was not terrible by any stretch.

Okay, Fulham don't look great this season but it was still a very decent performance as they always raise their game against us but bar a brief spell in the second half when they made some changes, we just didn't allow them to play - we were that dominant. Won't get carried away but good signs - let's hope it continues.
