Our record against the bottom six is a bit of a shocker ... 10 games, 4 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats.

Our lot certainly don't make things easy for themselves, but 6th place is still there to play for, so there is still a modicum of hope LOL

These are literally relegation teams, its the bare minimum even for mid-table teams like we currently are, you don't need to be a good team to beat Sheffield. 

Subs Palmer after messing with his game, subs Noni after his goal and his hard work, subs when defending a set piece that leads to us letting in number 2.

We are asking this lot to beat the worst teams in the league, not the likes of Arsenal, City and Liverpool.

Sadly there is no basis to expect victories given the evidence on show. Disorganized at the back and front with only Palmer looking like an elite player. This lot even manage to undo the good work he does on his own. I knew this result was coming because we've been fluking results since a long time now. The games we've won we've somehow got over the line. Not seen any progress and it has actually got worse now.

As we watch an Australian coach, masterclass Spurs into the Champions League....meanwhile back at the ranch, ..there is singing and dancing with a point gained from the worst team in the EPL history which solidifies our 9th place spot by a point.

The game should have been over after 30 minutes. Sheff United were not in it at all. We didn't even need to be at our best, whatever our best is. What we did instead was pass the ball around 50 times, going nowhere, allowing Sheff United to find some composure. Awful game management once again.

I think this is the game that has made me want Poch out.

I've been willing to defend him given our insane injuries' record and the youth of the team - I don't think any other manager could have done better in the first 6 months or so given these conditions.

 

But we are not even close to progressing as a team. Even before games start, I know how we will look and how chaotic everything about our play will be. I don't trust this team to win any game or hold on to any lead and that's not just down to injuries or a young team.

Why can Liverpool run fast and hard for most of the game. Newcastle and Man Utd. As poor as they may be perceived at least they run with energy and intensity when they have the ball. Why do we insist on making everything a contest with this appallingly bad, slow tempo, possession based crap with players who, regardless of what has been spent on them are not equipped with enough ability to play that way. Lazy ugly football. Passionless and I hate it. Seen it over and over now and I just don't understand it. We are so sh*t at playing that way, so why do it.

I feel the same way. It's been a disease with us for years now that it's only getting worse.

I don't know if they are afraid to make things happen, lack passion or are too arrogant. It feels like arrogance more than anything else. Like they feel they can just play at walking pace and embarrass teams. The only ones getting embarrassed are themselves.

I hate Klopp, but we're desperate for a coach like him. All action, shouting from the touchline, encouraging his team on with every kick of the ball. There is no chance a coach like Klopp or even Guardiola would have his team score a goal and then follow up with an aimless 15 minutes just passing the ball around like it's a warm up session.

These players cannot have the likes of Potter and Pochettino managing them. They will never grow and cut out the negative parts of their game if this continues.

Just realised that Jackson, Enzo, and to a lesser extent Caicedo, didn't have a single shot on goal between them today in the whole 90 minutes.

Quite dreadful ...
