The caption on the VAR check initially indicated an offside check. During the check the Sky commentary mentions the Cucurella challenge. Then they start checking for a possible foul. Did the commentary influence the VAR team? Or do they not hear the commentary? 

If they do they need to stop that imediately.

Cucurella is alright when he's released from most of his left-back duties. Can see how he was/appeared useful as an LCB under Potter.

 

Duff and Robben on the wings and Mourinho as manager.........this game would be over by now.

We've been OK. Spurs have been dire. Think we deserve the lead.

Excellent first half. My worry is that spurs will be much stronger second half and we don’t have any subs to change things.

Funny thing is they mentioned the Liverpool injuries in this game.  Not sure they’ll mention ours in any other match.

Spurs have been cheeks. Johnson is horrid. 

One good thing about having to listen to Lee Dixon is that he hates T*ttenham as much as we do.

Looking back, we were lucky VAR didn’t rule that out. Swear I’ve seen a few times goals like that were called off due to impeding. 

Wacko doesn't do 50-50s. 

There is certainly evidence in general that these boys are trying. Crowd seems up for it too. This would be a good game for us to win for the karma. 

One of the biggest reasons why we drop points, possibly the biggest reason, is that we keep teams in the game. That chance for Jackson should have been a goal. If he isn't going to square it to Palmer, then he has to score it. He was never going to pass it though, because like a few players in this team, he is self obsessed.

Am glad for Trev he got one more goal at the Bridge (for us)  before they sell him.
