It's an unexpected bonus for a manager when your usual super-sub gets to start a game and performs like that. Mentally Maresca must have at least moved him up to position 3 on the bench for the next game.

I think you only get confidence like that at that age. Before all the efficiencies or shot selection, technical coaching stuff that somewhat takes all the risky stuff out of player's games

Fair, the point I'm trying to convey is he had a humble upbringing but he's not in the main spotlight like Neymar or Endrick growing up so he doesn't get bigheaded like they did

Let's hope it stays that way, I was impressed to hear he allegedly spoke to Willian before coming here.

Things can change, if he starts banging in lots of top quality goals then the media and Real Madrid's agents will apply pressure.

He's had practice. Same goal he scored against us at the CWC.

Again about Estevão, take a look how good is his drible, how fast is his mind to do fast movements and plays, Estevão nowadays is the main engine of Chelsea i am sure of that.

Oh and just saying, theres another kid here in Brazil who will blow your guys mind's when goes to Europe, my boy Rayan, CF from Vasco, this is the mini version of Adriano who played for Inter de milan. Keep a look on this name.

I feel sorry for Estevao, because every time he starts in the league, somebody gets red carded to force him off.

Estevao was our most dangerous player in the first half, he should have never been subbed at that point.

I think he was going to get hooked around 60 minutes regardless. He looked dangerous but he was a bit snatchy at times, a few poor shots and over hit passes. Great learning experience for him that half.

I would have trusted him to sort it out before then. He was getting involved, just lacked the finishing touch.

Still learning, as to be expected. Not surprised he made way at half time given the physicality and type of game. There is no denying when he is our greatest threat - so talented on the ball.

I don't mind him being taken off when he was... This game was a good learning experience for him.

If Caicedo hadn't got himself sent off, I had a feeling Estevao was going to score - he was getting good opportunities and had a few sighters early on.

Nasa reporting today one of its satellites was hit by an unknown object that originated from Stamford Bridge... That was a wild shot from Stevo and its still in lower orbit!

Think yesterday showed why he does need protecting in games. He's an outrageous talent but I did have a good giggle at his strikes on goal yesterday.

Needs protecting because he skied a few shots over the bar? He was our best attacker before the red card. Even the best players blast a few shots over the bar, Salah has a sh*t ton of them.
