Here are the teams we'll be facing:

We'll have to go through a play-off to secure our place in the league stage. So there's a chance we actually don't get to play in the conference league as well.

Slovan Bratislava there is a blast from the last.

Simple answer is better win it. Some potentially tricky sides but no Europa sides drop in to it so no excuses.

Don't we lose out on the sponsorship deals we had tried to set up by not qualifying for a proper competition.

Also who is giving up their summer holidays to play in the qualifier in a couple of weeks time!

Is a real test of how well we can comply with FFP now. Conference league offers no money, we wont cover our costs if we win it.

Juve ducked out of European football last year as the new they would breach uefas FFP and be hit with some form of fine, likely a large one.

Could our owners decided to do the same? Conference league won't help with new sponsors, which once again qe don't have a front of shirt sponsor so while the other teams played in next season kit on the last league game day we did not.

Never won the Conference League before, so we can hopefully add it to our European trophy honours.

Should be clear favourites to win it looking at those teams.

Hold on, can we not forfeit our entry into this competition? If it's going to be an inconvenience, why are we not withdrawing our participation???

We can sure, Juve did their spot this season, not sure of that was Europa League or conference league though.

Either way we can. Let's see what Egbahli decides to do.

Conference League. They were kicked out for FFP breaches.

They *cough* voluntarily cancelled themselves out of the Conf League as part of a plea bargain.

I posted this in another chat. Can we even afford to be in it? We are rough £90m loss, UEFA will  only allow £68m. Plus the hotel sales can’t count so that is rough £130-50m to break even BEFORE 30th June.

I hope Clearlake have got some clever accountants because I’m not sure how they get around that one - assuming the figures i posted are accurate.

Should win this if we enter the competition. Although the medical team will have hands full, now we get another extra 10 plus games to play.

If it's a trip to Turkey or Spain it shouldn't be a problem but if there is an odd away match all the way to Georgia or to Finland while it's a bit colder then the medical staff will have to be lucky not to get an extra treatment on their table...

If we carry on like this we'll eventually be saying

" We've never won the Johnson's Paint Trophy or the Papa John's Cup before,  so if we win em it'll be more trophies that Arsenal haven't won"  😜
