December 3, 2025Dec 3 The "Genius" reverted to being the bald c**t tonight.Seems he can put a side together for big games like Liverpool, Arsenal, PSG, Barca etc. But then he has to play about with the line-up and play players who should be nowhere near the side. Got it badly wrong tonight and seems clueless in these type of fixture. Could be a long, sh*t December.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 Plain as day this won’t work with him. The general olay is atrocious. Charity FC.

Could be a long, sh*t December.Yep, and it's not just about playing players that aren't good enough, he's mixing them with players that are good enough but they are brought down multiple levels because there is no chemistry built up. The shape just completely falls apart. Tragic management.Maresca will shift the blame again. Give all of that "the players weren't concentrated from the start". He's the biggest problem though, because he can't see that you can't just swap out 5 players and expect it all to fall into placeI'm tired of repeating it at this point. We're armchair analysts, we should be made to look like idiots, but we get it right about Maresca every time. We knew with that team selection it was going to be a messy night. December 3, 2025Dec 3 I thought the old-school values were dead. I'm glad this is the result of how much we still hate Leeds rather than anything else, like, for example, the propensity of modern fans towards aimless misery.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 When you swap 5-7 players every week, there’s no cohesion between players. Add to that that he picks sh*t players ahead of others with more quality (Badiashille/Tosin over Acheampong, Delap over Guiu, Gittens over Garnacho, etc) and you end up with what we’ve seen today. It’s not the first time and won’t be the last because he’s not learning anything. He’s a championship level coach.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 4 points off than last season at same stage. The league us so tight, that one minute fron the outside looking in we are sitting 2nd putting up a title challenge, as Liverpool were a few weeks ago, nect minute your 10th! Season could go either way.We are a good team against other good teams, but in the other 30 games, we struggle, and therw is no way you can get consistancy with the chopping amd chamging of 5 players every game. Some of these signings look really poor too, very disappointed with Delap, but even Pedro looks to have completely fallen off a cliff since his 1st 6/7 games.Id sell all the centre backs bar Colwill too. None are at the right level, maybe Fofana if he can stay fit.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 I said in the Arsenal match chat that the season has unraveled the instant Caicedo got sent off.Reality is that we are a mid table team at best without him.We need to play our strongest team possible when he's out to compensate for his absence.Rotating without Caicedo is suicide. We've just seen the result today.I can't see us winning either of our next two games if Maresca keeps tinkering with the lineup.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 Massively unlikeable, massively inept unless he's playing a decent side. One trick pony, get him to f**k.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 No wonder Maresca looked fantastic at Leicester, all the teams are at about the same level. When Leicester was leading the table comfortably, teams started to adjust their tactics against the league leaders and the form dipped massively.Basically Maresca can’t coach a team to win when they are big favourites.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 His obsession with retaining possession and making our players pass the ball across our own backline, regardless of the situation, or the time and space available, is just total stupidity. I have said before I get the impression he isn't the smartest tool in the shed and the way he fails to learn, and repeats the same mistakes over and over just reinforces that belief.Chelsea News(Video): "I will change you" - Enzo Maresca admits he thr...It was a funny old night at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea won easily, but in the wake of anti-ownership protests before the game, there was a strange atmosphere in the stadium. When the home team were look
December 3, 2025Dec 3 Author All of the good will & effort against Barcelona and Arsenal erased after tonight. Same sh*t. Nothings changed. Forever standing still.

Doesn't really matter who you have in the side, you cannot rotate 5-7 players in the Premier League, you just can't. It doesn't work. When he rotates like this, the players are looking at each and trying to learn and build a relationship together, but you don't have time because teams in this league play like they are playing for their lives. It's just a disaster waiting to happen and it's been happening all season. We've been getting away with it against the likes of Burnley, Wolves and Forest, but even those games looked a mess.

So he should have had some idea of what it would be like in tonight's game.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 This is where we are people unfortunately. A bang average manager with loads of bang average players, he hasn't got the guts to pick the likes of Josh over Tosin. He'll pander to what the board want by not playing Josh and Tyrique and then we can push them out the door in January whilst protecting the disaster purchases like Gittens and Tosin. The board hasn't got a winners mentality, they buy oppotunities in the market rather than players to move us forward.A cup team is the best we can hope for while fighting for a possible top 4 finish.Shambles!

My point was that you cannot afford to rotate especially with Caicedo suspended. We should have started our strongest possible 11 today considering there was no Caicedo to help clean the mess.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 Two steps forward, two steps back in the space of 8 days. He's refusing to learn that we can't make 6/7 changes every game. I will accept that Fofana and James can't play all the time, but there's no reason why Chalobah should be at right back. Trying to be clever and making himself look a tit.
December 3, 2025Dec 3 I just can't get over how he keeps tinkering with that defence, the place you want the least amount of tinkering.Against Arsenal:Sanchez (gk) Cucurella (lb) Chalobah (cb) Fofana (cb) Gusto (rb)Against Leeds:Sanchez (gk) Cucurella (lb) Badiashile (cb) Tosin (cb) Chalobah (rb)Maresca continually fails to grasp the importance of keeping the same defence, and he continually underestimates teams in the Premier League.
