September 20, 2025Sep 20 I think Benitez had more supporters than this clown.I can tolerate sh*t performances if we get results, but this is just excruciating. If we're going to blow a sh*tload of money on kids, at least get in a progressive manager who will get the best out of them, not this Pep wannabe who wants to play sideways passing galore, invert every position to fulfill a Twitter hipsters wet dream. We're wasting any bit of potential we have, Palmer is world class and even he looks nullified most of the time... We've yet to have a single winger flourish in this system, dare I say attacker. This is absolute sh*te... Just complete and utter sh*te. Edited September 20, 2025Sep 20 by Victor90

September 20, 2025Sep 20 If Liverpool went down to 10 men against United, they would have still won. If it was 2-1 with 17 minutes to go, they would have scored the equaliser, and if they didn't, you can guarantee that United goal would have faced a dozen shots. Maresca's Chelsea though? Nah, it's panic. Taking off the best runner in the team in Neto when you're down to 10 men is the worst move you can possibly make. I don't know what the f**k was going on with Palmer, but if it wasn't because of injury, then that is equally as bad. When Casemiro got sent off, Maresca's half time team talk should have been easy, give it everything. That mentally weak United side would have folded. We score one, and I'm hearing that we did f**k all after it with 17 minutes to go. Cowardly tactics from a manager that is cautious in every way. Well out of his depth at this level. We won't replace him though, I don't even know if we can afford it! These stupid f**ks failed to get a front of shirt sponsor for 3 seasons and picked up a UEFA charge because they spent stupid money on sh*te players. You'll still get those telling us the way the club is being run is genius though.
September 20, 2025Sep 20 The more I think about it the more funny it gets. I've never seen a more negative tactical decision to a red card to bringing off three attacking players. And to bring George on instead of Gittens or Garnacho is an absolute sickener

The club is run by clowns and that won't change even if we get a new manager
September 20, 2025Sep 20 My thoughts:I think last season is catching up with us. Injuries, tiredness - we don’t look right. Maresca isn’t using the squad. Something isn’t right. He’s sending a message to the board. Maresca has consistently failed to get us competing in big games. We always look weak and pathetic. Easily beaten in every big game.
September 20, 2025Sep 20 He's a coward, an absolute coward.I still can't believe he took off 2 attackers for 1 red card. And then when we did get a goal back against this weak Man Utd we didn't even trouble them again.Whoever we play, no matter how bad they have been he drags us down to thier level and then says it was a tough match.Pass, pass, pass to blind our stupid board with stats yet opposition goalkeepers hardly need to wash their gloves after a match against us.It's depressing to witness and I can see no end to it.

Easily beaten in every big game. Some truth in last season catching up with us, more so the extended season with the Club World Cup I would say. We already lost key players in Colwill and Delap, and looks like Cole Palmer may need to take an extended break and even have surgery. We do have a big squad on paper but a lot of it beyond the first 12 -14 players looks distinctly average. Despite many of the players brought in for big fees. As an example If the owners weren't so focused on turning profits, then perhaps we would have brought decent winger rather than multiple average options. Or brought in a couple of more experienced players to balance out the youth.

September 20, 2025Sep 20 Oh, and Fulham are battering Brentford 4-1, a team we struggled to create a single chance again.
September 20, 2025Sep 20 Going to be a long season with this fraud in charge.I guess clearlake think the CWC was a real trophy so we're stuck with him for a while.Baffling decisions today, can't work out what he was thinking for a single one of them.

September 20, 2025Sep 20 As awful as Maresca was today, and that is one of the worse 15 minutes ive ever seen at the start, as well as some horrendous in game management. I find it hard to be too critical. The sporting directors hired him.The sporting directors assembled the squad. The sporting directors overspent to the point we couldnt strengthen when and where we needed to. This project will not succeed, the best player will force moves before we get a team that can compete, as we are constantly replacing ability with potential. So for me no manager will change this. We needed a centre back before colwill got injured, and we didn't address it. We needed a goalkeeper but we didn't address it. Right wing have spent £90m of a limited budget on players that are no better than we had in our own youth team.Battle for top 4/5 again, whilst the club have missed out on over £100m from not even getting a shirt sponsor. We would have no restrictions if the club just secured a shirt a sponsor for last 2 seasons, its unbelievably poor.

Why would you take off 3 attackers as soon as you get a red card. He literally threw in the white towel. Literally.
September 20, 2025Sep 20 Trying to bring some balance:“Just so everyone knows, Cole Palmer has been injured since before the CWC. They’ve been giving him pain injections to play. Nothing bad showed up on the scans but he’s had continuous discomfort in his groin and it’s not gone away”. Still, I thought he missed a trick not bringing Garnacho on. Would have made them nervous.

What manager wants to come and attempt to coach in these conditions, its like a glorified youth team, and he clearly has no say in the transfers. Im not critical of Maresca as I didn't ever want him in tne 1st place, he was never good enough.or proven enough. Im expecting him him to make mistakes.
September 20, 2025Sep 20 I've been involved in this game at many levels in many roles, but I have absolutely no idea what he was trying to do tonight, not one of his changes made sense at all, none seemed to fit with the match situation. It was like the decisions were made by a really sh*t AI.
