A very important win, and a pretty convincing one at that!

First half was more of the same old, mistakes everywhere, zero awareness, midfield nonexistent.

Second half was obviously a complete 180, so credit to Maresca for tightening it up. Players delivered as well.

Noni MOTM for me, Cole a close second.

Onwards and upwards!

It's 14 shots as it stands, of which 8 on target, and 6 goals ... I'd say that's pretty damn clinical myself !

In terms of shots yeah you nailed it, but even in the last two minutes we had great opportunities to get another and we made a bags of it. Not even getting a shot away, that’s gonna hurt it tighter games.

Looks like Maresca's even whipped some defensive discipline into Madueke. Impressed with Maresca today, active on the sideline as well and made sure the players don't take their gas off the foot even in overtime.

He's not the greatest tackler but generally he has always been pretty good at tracking back and closing opponents down. The complete opposite of Sterling on that front.

Noni and Cole were immense, the lack of defensive focus from wolves on that side was bad.

neto looks good and more importantly, we haven’t had any hamstrings (knock on wood) flare up outside of James so our medical dept is the true stars so far this season

Should we tell him?

Superb. Well done. Something to build on there. The attack is mouth watering - the defense and midfield needs firming off. But, right now is about positives

Noni, best game of his career. Outstanding. Palmer service resumed - exemplary. Enzo - well played, was a leader in the middle. Caicedo, much better second half. Neto and Felix - tasty. Fofana, keep building fitness.

Isn't Lavia a hamstring injury. First I'd heard of that actually.  Gutted if so.

Scoring makes things easier doesn't it. We were horrible first half. Came on from the blocks second half and scored the chances we had and it was cruising. I really like how cool Cole and Noni are in scoring situations. That is the key to put chances away.
