Absolutely made up with that 2nd half, clinical, controlled, and full of quality. 

Madueke brilliant finishing, Palmer with 3 class assists, and then Neto and Felix combined to show their quality. 

Enzo really good 2nd half too, I like him in front of the defence, thought we played through the press better with some slick passing, when he dropped in their for last 25 mins.

Hopefully this takes some pressure and negativity away from the club, and gives maresca some time to implement his football.

Would be madness to do anything about Palmer at 10 and Madueke at RW so afraid Nkunku will have to get used to the bench this season. Assume Neto may replace Mudryk v Palace but other than that you have to build on this game now.

Pleased for the Board. Should get us a decent fee for Madueke. Mudryk is the future of CFC.

Neto, Felix, Madueke, Palmer. Surely that side of things is sorted now. Gusto , Cucurella both played well. Just need to tweak the midfield and defence then...hey presto top 4 finish

Sanchez can certainly ping a pass.

Fofana & Colwill are building something together. 

Cucurella has continued where he left off last season. 

Gusto has been disappointing the last 2 games.

Caiceido had a stinker.

Enzo ran the show 2nd half.

Mudryk is nothing more than a squad player at this point.

Palmer is going to win a BalonD’or as a minimum.

Madueke is undroppable from here on out. Proper old school winger cutting in.

Jackson isn’t a footballer, put us out our misery and sign a CF or five Guiu a run out. 

Neto & Felix both showed flashes of class in the minimal time they had on the pitch.

Credit where it's due at half time it looked more like a 4-4 than a 2-6 match.

Great forward play in that half, could of and should of scored even more, but that's nit picking really.

Really, really poor in the first half but excellent in the second half so the performance mirrored the rest of the players for me. So i'd start him.

Agree. But with so many games and injuries likely, they’ll be rotation and enough games for all. The key for me is maintaining a level of intensity every match, which is what teams like City do so well when rotating 

Despite 3 goals our first half was poor. Just watched the after match highlights and if not for offside we cudda gone in 4-2 down at half time. May not be so lucky next time. However fabulous 2nd half. Hopefully keep up that momentum but please sort that defence out. Onwards and upwards

Great to have a match day thread with such an (overall) upbeat tone, seems to have been ages to be reading through one like this.

Sounds like Mudryk was clear man of the match. Him going off at half time sparked the team in to a second half 0-4 win. 👍

 

BTW has anyone checked on @justafter Noni got his hat trick goal?
