Incredible stuff by our ownership and take a BOW to the SDs. Impressive my god, @nonotnowjim can finally enjoy his vacation!!!

Dear me, this post hasn't aged well, given what we have subsequently learned about the "phenomenal" deal.

See you next summer Jacko.

"Chelsea has acted quickly to ensure its backroom continuity. The club renewed the contracts of senior personnel shaping the game at Stamford Bridge. Sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, along with recruitment chiefs Joe Shields and Sam Jewell, have agreed to six-year deals that keep them at the club until 2031"

Being reported now in The Sun;

"Winstanley, Stewart, Shields and Jewell welcomed the appointment extensions with Winstanley commenting "we are proud to work with our American owners in shaping the future of soccerball in this country. This game does not stand still. It continously evolves. Only this week we have heard of Manchestershire City signing a 14 year old for £500,000. We believe this model is the future and we are pleased to announce we have today signed four outstanding 7 year old schoolboy prospects on 32 year contracts worth £60 million per year. In line with the recruitment request from our offensive head coach Enzo Manchego, all four are centre-backs"

Is that each or in total for the four?

These two. Didn’t address the GK and CB spot this summer, and look where we are.

Spent £100M on left wingers that can’t even get on the pitch.

An absolute shambles. These two have built a pretty mediocre squad with a few standout players. Useless.

And the even bigger clowns, our owners, extended their contracts!

The whole set up from top to the coach is diabolical. They’re all a bunch of scammers ready to take money from this club.

And, ultimately, the board with their nonsensical policy of only going for unproven low wages sh*t, whether it be coach or players.

Time is showing you get what you pay for. Maybe the data will show us all wrong, but, the less you pay for something, the lower quality it will inevitably be. Sigh.

The crazy thing though is where we have paid a lot and still got nothing. They've fooled us!

It's incredible that these guys are still in such well paid jobs when the list of mistakes and failures is growing by the week.

Our billion pound squad currently looks a shambles. So much money wasted on bang-average players or players with "potential". They must have been patting themselves on the back after the CWC, but now thy look like what they are - Mugs, who don't know what they're doing. It's laughable.

October 2025 and still no FOS sponsor. We were told the CWC would open up never before seen opportunities in terms of sponsorship money. 80 days have passed and not so much as a murmur about a long term deal.

824 days since our last long term legitimate FOS sponsor. Complete and utter incompetence.

Word seems to be that all the prospective sponsors are wary of the FA charges, and want to wait to see the effect it has on us.

Wasn't there someone the club let go a few weeks ago?

Chief revenue officer Casper Stylsvig left about 2 weeks ago.

I would think he would have been very involved in shirt sponsorship negotiations

Hope it is part of a deal that Brings the metal loving headbanging German Klopp to the club... you know like City did ahead of Pep.... .... ....

No issues with Rammstein being played in the dressing room or stadium.... Wont be long before we're all singing "Bück dich", befehl ich dir

Wouldn't mind seeing Klippety arrive at the club.

Could be interesting if Eghbali and Todd got to hear a different point of view aside from the chuckle brothers.👍

Hopefully but unlikely the same for David Fallows but i expect he will have to report to these jokers.
