I certainly wasn’t expecting us to reach the Final of this tournament.

If, I’m honest I wasn’t really that bothered about this tournament.

I just wanted all our players to get through it injury free.

It is not because of tourney. I watched our game vs Palmeiras. I am not sure I have seen flat 442 defense where you can find your dm as easy as we did against Palmeiras

Very decent team performance. Things are looking promising and feel we are a good keeper away from having a squad and team that can challenge.

Only gripes from last night were how long Maresca left Palmer and Caicedo on for. Both need rest and if either picked up am injury it would be really annoying as needless and preventable.

Jackson should have centred to Palmer yes, but his pressing and work rate is what won us the ball in the first place. A bit harsh to criticise him so much for ruining his own created chance as if he was just capitalising on someone else's work.

Yes and good see both the greed from him and the criticism from Palmer. It shows desire and determination to win. A team should have some edge to it, its a competitive world.

I think he means before the tournament started. Most people would not have envisaged us getting to the final from the beginning of the tournament.

Palmer had another quiet game, still think he should be RW.

I thought we played at a decent tempo considering the heat and passed it much more purposefully if this continues we will be much better to watch.

We should play Sanchez on the wing cos he continues to get me out my seat like no other player since Hazard….just for all the wrong reasons. He actually did everything he had to I suppose he just makes me nervous while doing it.

I think it means they were BBQing at the time they responded to the post. Jorgensen had foolishly used petrol to start his BBQ. But I could be wrong.

Didn't get to post comments for the win, was so tired and happy and tipsy and went straight to bed with happy thoughts.

Thought the goals were awesome. A lot of work to be done but kudos to the team. It took a lot of fight to battle on that insane weather. Even had 2 people on the stands that got stretchered out and ambulanced off.

Credit to Maresca for setting up a good team but Caicedo being injured was unnecessary

THEY DID IT. We’re in the final and I’m just so proud of them right now. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna be pacing around my living room during the final because I know it’s gonna be intense. 😅

Man City was in our side of the draw. I am not sure many saw us getting past them.

I priced the final last night, cheapest tickets in Stadium $ 335 another $ 830 for flight from LA to NYC and 2 nights hotel 1.15 miles from stadium for a grand total of $ 1,166 Lucky I was sober and didn't book and buy it all, after seeing that 45 mins of football

Great to see us reach the final and also great to see the new boy hit two great goals.

Maresca gets us to top 4 and now a final cannot see him leaving this summer.

I simply hadn’t paid attention to the teams we were playing before the start of the tournament and which teams actually were in the tournament.
