Fofana is very good, Enzo is also very good.

What we need in cb is tier 1 level talent cb who is in his prime, strong, fast, good on the ball. The type of signing that blue co won't do.

In the last 3 seasons, we have fans complaining about player a, b n c. We sold them, get new players yet we have been playing at similar level.

Pretty clear our SD's are clueless when it comes to CB's. Despite all the purchases made I don't think they have improved on any of the options that came from our academy.

It is not just cb. We have been playing at similar level 3 seasons in a row now.

I am glad this did not go unnoticed. I thought he was excellent. Defensively was solid and made some crucial interceptions and what was impressive was his ability to bring the ball out defence and play.

Enjoyed his carries out of defence, was one of the few line-breaking moves we actually pulled off last night.

Why wouldn’t you. Pissing off Strasbourg, stunting Sarr’s development, pissing off Dortmund (and the player) by recalling Anselmino and yet another body to block Josh’s development. Its right on que for our wonderful SD’s

I disagree about him defensively. He's not aggressive enough and always gets caught out a few times in every game.

He made a number of good blocks and tackles last night and was our MOTM. He's only 20 and right now, looks the best option to partner Colwill next season - better than all the rest we currently have anyway.

He did the bare minimum against a pretty sh*t United attack. Against any team where he has had to defend, he's struggled. He also can't partner Colwill, because at CB, they both play on the left.

I find it hard to get excited about a single player in this team right now when they are getting battered in every game they play.

After having to watch the likes of Badiashile, Tosin and even Fofana and Chalobah at times, believe me, Hato is a breath of fresh air.

Funnily enough I think the worst of his defending has come from him playing LB rather than CB.

Cucurella should be dropped and Hato should be starting at LB. He's not the answer to our problems at CB long term and Cucurella is back to being a liability now his bald puppet master isn't here to stick him at CF during every attack.

I’m not sure he’s either to be honest.

I really like him as a player and thought he was our best player by a mile against Utd. His best moments for us have been higher up the pitch and more central though. He can pick a pass, and is mobile. He would be a better option than Enzo in midfield.

He has looked better in the CB role more recently but I’d want him to nail down one position as his very soon and I’m not sure that will happen at LB or CB yet. He looks and plays like a midfielder
