Chelsea vs FC Barcelona (UCL) Tuesday 25th November 20:00 GMT

Perfect CL match, clean sheet, three goals with Stevo doing his best Hazard impression at 18 to equal Mpabbe’s CL debut 3 matches scoring in each boy is a 🤩

Have to credit Maresca the false 9 and pace that came with it was their undoing as they played their high risk high reward high line. Well and truly done they were …

let’s see this type of Stella performance on the weekend from Maresca and the players, especially Stevo !

And with context, Barca are just a point behind Madrid, not to mention they beat Newcastle in the UCL and only just lost to PSG in the 90th minute. Nobody saw this coming, and only now, you’ll get people saying how sh*te they are, as if it’s without merit. The intensity was Club World Cup levels, it just pains me to know we’ll turn up without ideas when it’s a run of the mill PL fixture. Arsenal are going to be the biggest test this season, a ‘convincing’ defeat on Sunday will come with revisionism; but without a doubt.. this is a big moment.

Estevao’s goal was one for the ages. With Palmers impact at the club in recent times, I couldn’t have even conceive forgetting about him like this.

All very well Estevaio scoring on a cold November Tuesday night in London but can he turn it on a warm summers day in Spain. That's when we will see his true grit...

Always with the negative vibes.

Great game from us. Got lucky with their early miss but the team was well up for it and we battered them. I didn’t like the line up to begin with, I would have liked a CF from the start (wouldn’t have missed the header Neto missed for the second or third overturned goal), and Santos in midfield and James at RB, but kudos to Maresca as he got it right. We’ll see on Sunday, another type of beast.

Great performance but my god what a rubbish era of football this is.

Barcelona are trash, a massive former shadow they once we, as we are and so many European giants.

I really miss the days of Dinho vs JT and Drogba vs Puyol

I don't disagree as such, but you can only beat what's in front of you.

Our performance tonight was excellent.

In comparison to the past this isn’t the best Barca side. But they were pretty good for the first 20-25 mins and should’ve been ahead but for the Torres miss. After that we just seemed to step it up and they never had a look in, especially after the sending off. Everyone was really focused, determined, and I just thought we were on another level and could’ve won by 4 or 5. We definitely had all the breaks but it’s a fantastic result regardless.

Put automatic qualification back on the table after the Qarabag debacle.

Got Atalanta away next then Pafos at home and Napoli away last up in the new year.

What a feeling after the game!!

Can't stop smiling, what a win yesterday!

The aggression we had on the ball and against the ball was so impressive, we just got them at everything.

Big credit to Maresca and all the players, we just need the same character and quality against Arsenal.

We still can do big things this season with performances like this, COME ON CHELS!!!

Yep, exactly what I was thinking. Went to bed after the game on a high but then remember the first 10-15 minutes where we looked a bit dis-jointed and Barca missed that sitter and thought at the time we were going to struggle.

Buy boy how we upped our game and then absolutely battered Barca. Could and should have been 5 or 6. Every player to a man putting in a good performance. Was great to watch and the team spirit looks really strong right now. Just pray we carry it on against the Gooners.
