VAR ruined the flow of the game but it got every decision correct.

Suppose as PL ‘fans’ we’ve become accustomed to this but must be quite the shock for those who aren’t exposed to it week in week out.

Aside from taking far too long once again, it did everything it was supposed to.

True, although in fairness he would only have been benched all season at Sunderland anyway. He couldn't be loaned back out anywhere other than back to Sunderland and they had clearly seen enough to pass.

The comment from Ben Foster was cringing....and ridiculous. Not sure how they were done out of a penalty shootout anyway. If the goal counted that's still only 3-4 or does he think that VAR should have given the goal and then ended the match then as well?

This was always going to be a tricky tie and we got through it. We earned the win, I'm not sure why some are saying Wrexham deserved it?. At this point anything goes to get to the next round.

I imagine we will use a full strength squad going forward, but rotation was required against a team a league below us, and a big CL away tie coming up, and yet I see the same comments about LR being a puppet etc. The starting XI was more than capable of getting a result, but certain players continued to let themselves down, failing to take their opportunity, and showed that we need to move them on.

VAR got every decision correct despite the Wrexham fans moaning.

It was always going to be a difficult match, particularly if they scored the first goal. We didn’t play particularly well for most of it. Had anyone offered me a 4-2, or any kind of win before kick off, I’d have taken it. Obviously!

A lot of the guys that did not get that much game time lately got to play more because of the extra time, so it was a good day.

My daughter was visiting and we sat down together to watch the match. We had a great time with what was a very entertaining contest.

I realise that I should be upset, angry and outraged that the whole show was orchestrated by the lizard people.

Even the commentators were saying it - going on how Wrexham were cheated by the circumstances of the cup, given that earlier rounds didnt have it.

It would have been the other way around, WE would have been cheated had it been given.
