Just my personal view but Conte wants a target man. The club however does not want to invest in one as Conte is leaving in five months and the next manager might not want one of those in his squad.

So rumours that A.Sandro is upset at Juve and will certainly leave in the summer. Should Chelsea go out and sign someone like Palmeiri for £22m now or wait until summer and snatch up Sandro for £45m?

Why not do both and add some depth to the squad?

22m for a decent player like Almeiri is a fair price.

If he leaves there's no payout, if we sack him we pay off the rest of his contract. I pray he doesn't leave anyway

Is the media just taking the piss now ? Carroll, Crouch, Slimani, Barnes ? i would rather we signed nobody than any of these players. Also, nobody at Chelsea likes Barnes, not after that tackle on Matic a few years back.

Yep, it wasn't just Matic that was almost seriously injured that day either. Ivanovic and Zouma were both pushed in mid air by Burnley players (again, one of them by Ashley Barnes) and they both landed on their necks. That could've ended not just their careers but also their lives on another day.

Barnes didn't give a sh*t though, he just got on with it like nothing happened. Look at the way Rondon reacted yesterday after accidentally breaking McCarthy's leg, Barnes wouldn't have reacted that way if he had broken Matic's leg, he would have just got on with it like he's done nothing wrong.

Burnley were w**kers that day and the ref did nothing to stop them.

If we go anywhere near Ashley Barnes whoever is making transfer decisions needs the sack, f**king cannot believe we’re being linked with the likes of Carroll, Barnes Crouch.

True. I think we are an easy target right now because of our indifferent transfer windows in the last few years. We really should remind ourselves of this when it comes to Chelsea transfers from now on
