August 25, 20205 yr Imagine we get 3-4 signings sorted in couple of days, and get a GK in and we'd done. I'd get Foster if we are running out of money, leave the silly season behind and start preparing for next season.

Then when we sign someone else suddenly our club are useless and a disgrace, even though in all reality we were never ever even considering signing that player. I stay well away from Twitter and the utter mentalists on there as its an absolute cesspit of retarded comments and opinions.

All I hear is that we are close to signing this player and that player, but we haven't actually signed anybody since Werner.........these 48 hours seem to dragging on and on 😆 This is spot on. Its all a lot of hot air at the moment. Sky have had us close to signing Havertz for about 4 weeks now. Maybe they meant 48 days and not 48 hours.

Yeah and since we are a money club agents make up links to us to get their players better contracts so suddenly we are linked to every play and forever getting gazumped by other clubs at the last minute because we take too long etc etc It's tiresome.

Hello from a certain Mr Dunk....
August 25, 20205 yr Messi have just informed Barcelona he's leaving. Cheeky bid? I'm joking but it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

August 25, 20205 yr Looks like a power grab by messi to me, he wants his way at the club and knows this kind of threat will get it.

August 25, 20205 yr For me Messi has been the greatest individual talent I have ever seen. Still be a great coup whoever signs him (a little bit when we signed Gullit) and if he was 29/30 I'd be beside myself if we were in the frame, but at 33 really not that fussed and personally think PL week in week out would be hard for him and he'd spend more time in the treatment room. August 25, 20205 yr I just can’t see him leaving Barcelona. I think it’s a power play because Koeman is being firm with the dressing room.
August 25, 20205 yr Apparently Messi has informed Barca that he wants to leave, and the club has replied that according to his contract he would have had to inform them by the 10 of June. Now, he has to pay 700 million € if he wants to leave. All this in the Spanish papers. Koeman has told Suarez that he doesn't want him in the team next season. Suarez and Messi are best friends, so I believe that Messi would want out. Edited August 25, 20205 yr by RMH

August 26, 20205 yr 2 hours ago, WhiteWall said: Don't dare say it may be too physical and intense, please! No, I said I hope he stays away as he can still destroy teams at 33. Messi has been carrying an aging Barca in recent years. If a Messi was on a team like city I could see him putting teams (inclung Chelsea) to the sword. The member of Barça's board are pressuring Bartomeu not to resign under any circumstances. If he does, all the members would have to guarantee the club's losses with their assets. If it happens some of them could be ruined. Example: If Barcelona had a budget of 1 billion in 20/21 and the accumulated profits were less than 15%, 150 million, they would be obliged to guarantee the difference with their personal assets. They are waiting for a government moratorium on the covid." Apparently that's the reason why the elections are in march
