I've seen two posts on BBC's transfer gossip alleging that Newcastle are interested in Kante and then Kepa.

Not sure what to make of it.

I’m on my way to Kepas house right now.  Anyone know if a full tank of petrol will get me to Newcastle?

A full tank will get you about 30 miles these days.  :0)

Sorry but not for ne. Poisonous,  self obsessed, diving cheat. Cannot stand this to$$er. I pray we don't sign him. Neymar and Di Maria. Two cheating peas in a pod,   in my own opinion of course

No different to D.Costa for me, hate him when he's against you but you'd love him when he plays for you

Man I loved Costa such a shame how that turned out. Diego, Eden and Fabregas just wow have to hand it to Mourinho what a vision to have those 3 together. Same with Conte who reimagined and reanimated them. I look back now and think how good we had it, 2 elite goal scorers, one elite playmaker Fab and then workhorses like Oscar, Willian and Pedro all good players who sacrificed for the team, but still popped up with goals and assists.

I think if we managed to sign two elite players in attack we could replicate this formula since all our current attackers bar maybe one are hardworking and could supplement some real natural goal scoring/creating talents.

All good points yet our backs and defensive midfield were also very strong too.

Bissouma seems to be on our radar, would deffo take him as a stop gap until Rice can run his contract down.

Bissouma is a good, prem league proven player, but I see it as a bit of a risk if we out all our eggs in that basket. A huge step up in quality and ambitions.

Looking like he’s off to Spurs

Makes sense. Conte is like Jose. Wants proven experienced players because he knows he’ll only be there a couple of years. No doubt a savvy signing for them though

Ivan Perisić is prepared to announce his final decision soon, probably on Monday: Tottenham are ready to complete the negotiation with a two year deal on the table. 🇭🇷 #THFC

Antonio Conte wants Perisić, Spurs are in the race since Monday and mos waiting for final green light.

Tweeted by Fabrizo Ramano. Be interesting to know how hard we went in for him. Typical Conte signing a 33 year old

Perisic is a class signing for Tottenham. Sounds like they are just getting started too with quite the warchest this summer.

Good on them for supporting Conte, they'd fight for the title in two years if they continue to do so.

Chelsea invited Ivan Perišić for a medical, but the player has chosen #thfc and a reunion with Antonio Conte. He is expected to sign a contract worth £75,000-a-week. [The Sun]

Conte rounding up all the seniors in football.

Spuds will have a maximum of 1 year of great performances but years of rebuild to shift the old deadweights

Looks like next season Spurs under Conte are going to be strong contenders.

Wonder where else he will strengthen.

If they sign one or two more quality players i can see them challenging. I particularly like Bastoni that they are linkef with. He is the future of italian defence. I would love it if chelsea take a look at him.

Won’t happen not with Klopp & Pep still in the league. Fully expect him to implode by mid season.

I honestly think that Conte is better than Klopp. However, he has never got the backing in the transfer market. Perisic is a very shrewd signing and they are linked with some quality players, if they can sign a few they will be a force with Conte in charge.

My gut feeling is that Liverpool will implode next season. Having failed to win CL and premier league with such a team at their peak is a failure.

A player that I would look at would be Dybala, since inter have cooled their interest for him and go for Lukaku.

Gnabry I'm reading could be available for £40 million. His demands are reported to be  £300kpw,

Nkunku is also not confirmed to be signing an improved deal with RB.  £60-£70 million his reported value.

In my opinion Gnabry is nothing special. He is not vastly superior to Odoi.
