agreed, I think Luiz and Kante in particular helped out Cahill quite a lot last season.

Gary Cahill is a good defender, Luiz is every bit as good at that plus he can play the ball. Cahill is awful with the ball and it even looks awkward. If we had players who can all play the ball we'd be much stronger.

Cahill did score some important goals last season, I remember the winning goal against Stoke away, a huge result with Spurs within catching distance.

It's hard not to like Garry but football wise we need an improvement problem is it has been said rudiger isn't the most tactically aware, luiz has been much better tactically but he will never be a JT at reading the game,  what rudiger does being thoughbis pace and he can play the ball, that is crucial against high press teams if we are in a back 3 being able to play out releases the wing backs it's so very important to playing 3 at the back 

Surprised we were never linked with Fabinho. Very tidy player, still 23, can operate in midfield and as a right back. Signing him would solve a couple of problems in our squad: adding depth to midfield and giving competition to Moses on the right wing.

Monaco won't dismantle their midfield in 1 window. They've let go of Bakayoko and I think that's it. We can try for Fabinho but seeing as all rumours about him leaving dried up, I think Monaco has stopped letting anyone from midfield leaving.

I wouldn't mind Martial as part of the deal if Matic goes to Man Utd. Martial is wasted under Mourinho and does not appear to be in his plans.

Well Didier done an interview a good few weeks ago saying he was in regular contact with Lukaku and that he knew where he was going this summer. (there were heavy implications that it was Chelsea, think Didier referred to Chelsea as Lukaku's house or something along those lines)

Lukaku says he's known for months he was joining United.

Either Lukaku is telling porkies or Didier was being mischievous (at our expense)

Yeah possibly. To be clear I don't mean at our expense as in he cost us Lukaku. I wanted Morata all summer and actually believe the club did too. But if what he knew was that Lukaku was going to United then he was somewhat toying with those Chelsea fans who were hoping Lukaku was returning.

I'm surprised we're not in for Renato Sanches if he's available from Bayern for the rumoured 40m mark. The guy has bags of talent and would provide us well needed extra cover in the midfield.

If he is for sale we should be in for him, we should at least put an inquiry in, because of his age he will bed in nicely over the next few years but what's more concerning than a CM is other than Sandro city have bought all the decent full back on the market, how the f**k do they manage to sign 3 fullbacks and we couldn't bag one, I don't want to complain too much because he have a striker and 2 decent players in the spine, but while city have improved greatly, have we improved our team that much? FB's a major issue for us no real quality and no cover, I could accept alonso he has improved greatly but victor is so limited

We should stay away from HG players like him. I don't see him featuring as much this season for City and if he did it'd probably as a sub. 

He's fast and that's it. Willian and Pedro gives us so much more

Your assessment of what we've seen from Sanches is so different to mine. There seems to be a growing body of opinion that Bayern got it wrong. In the last few days I've read City fans poo-pooing the idea of being linked with him, Arsenal fans deriding his performance against them, and a German media report describing his displays for Bayern as scarily bad. Those are all just opinions of course but, if it's true that Bayern are willing to part with him, you would then have to say that they themselves have rethought their decision.

I just don't want to believe Antonio would have any interest in a player who, in my view, continues to produce such relentlessly ordinary performances.

How can anyone judge his Bayern days when he hasn't played, he is young missed preseason, off to a bad start and couldn't recover his confidence, he has the talent, under conte I think he could become world class. 

I know he hasn't had a great season at Barcelona but he's shown quality in the past, I'd go for Andre Gomes maybe?
