I was icy calm watching this, I just knew it would all be o.k....I even watched the pens, and normally I can't watch penalties even if its not Chelsea playing.

Yea, commentary is the Chelsea T.V commentary unfortunately. Five live would have been great, Alan Green actually wanted us to win that match.

Well to be fair the CTV commentary wasn't bad actually, I would love for them to release it with the Sky commentary though.

Funnily enough in real time I actually watched it on ITV so I missed that until I taped the replay. I watched it on ITV due to superstition as I'd watched the Moscow final on Sky.

And in Bayern's home stadium as well.

 

Add that to the semi-final, coming back from 0-2 down and a man down away to the defending champions and probably the best side in Europe at the time. And overturning a 3-1 deficit against Napoli. Not many comebacks in sporting history to rival that.

Seems like just yesterday, hopefully we can get another under the belt soon but nothing ever beats the first

What a great night it was in Munich. Lots of fine German beer in the afternoon and then that wonderful victory. 12 hour coach journey to and from Munich and about four hours sleep over the weekend. Bloody exhausted when I got home but worth it. In the stadium I met a guy who I used to work with many years ago and hadn't seen since the FA cup Final in 2007.
