    Just remembered the game we played in the street outside one of the bars in Munich. hundreds of fans with a couple of footballs. Kicking them as high as you could and then watch them come down on the cars or people walking past!! Old bill were trying to take them but everyone worked hard to get to the ball first!! Childish, but so funny!!!

    So many great memories of that day. The long coach journey to and from Munich; lots of beer; lack of sleep; and the sheer joy of Didier's penalty and the trophy being lifted.

    I've lost count the amount of times I've  seen the penalties. I still even now feel frightened and tense watching them and even shed a tear when Drogba puts it away. Watching full highlights including his header and Cech's pen save from Robben has me blubbing even before the shootout.

    Incredible how hazy some of memories are. But that German lager is strong stuff :biggrin:

    It's actually become even more of a 'stand out' date for me. I met my missus on this day a year later and it's extremely possible my daughter was conceived the following year on this day. I locked myself in the bathroom the whole day the next year for fear of life changing events happening, but things have been ok the past couple of years, so I might take a gamble and atleast make it out into the garden today :laugh2:

    Its an easy date to remember, 1905 that's easy, then 2012, an amazing sporting year. Make sure you get married on that date :laugh2:
