If he can't make it in a mid table Italian club he has no chance to rediscover his form in any club in La Liga or the EPL. 

He should just retire but he won't, since he is still getting guaranteed pay for the next year and a half. 

He should go back to Liverpool. I honestly believe that's where he belongs. He's never scored as prolifically anywhere else, not even Atletico.

Exactly. And it was always about how the style of play didn't suit him or how he was being benched for no reason, or some other excuse but never admitting that he was playing poorly. This is a fellow Spanish flop recently, notice the difference.

There is only one winner in this situation.  The agent!  

Looks like his return to Atletico is inevitable now.

 

Good ending for Torres all things considered. He gave his best, or least I think he did at times, for us but it just didn't work out. Liverpool ruined him and we were left to pick up the millions of pieces.
