Hazard getting kicked around is nothing new. The worst thing about it is when the refs pick and choose when it should be a yellow card. Almost every time he is hacked down it is cynical, they should all be yellow cards. This is one of the worst things about the Premier League in my opinion. We pride ourselves on being a tough league that allows tackles, but we always end up with the most talented players being kicked around with almost no punishment given to the opposition. It's like they are being punished for being more talented. No wonder why the most talented players prefer to play in other countries.

 

I love tackling in the game, you see fouls giving to perfectly clean tackles in other countries and it's great that we still allow great tackles go unpunished, but when there are cynical fouls, the refs should be giving out yellow cards. Ref's in England don't seem to want to give out too many yellow cards in a game, but if players are hacking other players down, then they should be booked.

Don't think I've ever seem a player fouled so much and so cynically in one game.

Hope this ridiculous no-striker nonesense is never used again.

Also, Hazard through the middle... That De Gae double save came through some Hazard wizardry with defenders not knowing which way he was planning to go with him playing through the middle.

Yep, it's beyond ridiculous now. This guy is supposed to be one of the top players in the world, the top players never go this long without a goal.

Looked to me like he already injured his groin from the shot he took  then tried to continue and worsened it when he slipped in the corner.

Though this is obviously true he doesn't do himself any favours either. He us very good at slowing to take a foul from behind, but this will surely catch up with him with injuries.

Yes, he invites a lot of fouls on himself by attracting several defenders at a time to come and tackle him.
