Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend

Featured Replies

Most important thing is to have a solid defence, Belgium didn't have that because of the injuries/suspensions. I think Lukaku is a disaster as their main striker as well.

Then I wonder what Gareth Bale was. Think Big Blue summed it up perfectly.

Bale ran the show in the first half. Everything Wales did went through him. Second half he was as invisible as Hazard.

Bale still won every header and chased every ball. Spent a lot of time playing as second right back to.

As an all round player and athlete Bale is miles ahead of Hazard.

I actually think Joe Allen has been really good in this tournament and i confess that until now i haven't particularly rated him when compared to the big name midfielders. Ramsey has also been really good to be honest.

Appreciate that it wasn't Belgium's night but i thought Batshuayi's input was pretty inconsequential. I must admit i'm scratching my head a little bit over this signing, although a good scoring record at Marseille apparently, so i am praying that lightning strikes twice and this lad can be the next Droggy.

Lol. A rewatch might help.

He was only on for 7 minutes.

Hazard's main problem for Belgium last night was that he was too deep. He's supposed to be one of their most attacking players but was picking the ball up closer to the half way line and the penalty area. He also wasn't running at his man again.

I don't understand Hazard. How can he go from looking unstoppable in one game to looking so so in the next ? I know players can't play brilliant in every game but it's becoming impossible to work out which Hazard is going to turn up these days.

Really don't like the sound of this interview in regards to his long-term future at the club.

I think you're reading too much into it.  He has often said he always likes to go out on top IF he were to leave.

If we get a few more seasons out of him at his best, then that's totally fine with me if he then goes out on top to another club

Hope so, I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong on this matter

Damn right. If he has another 'driving us to the title' season, they're gonna have to stump up stupid money if they want him.

Something like:

don't you think we should ask for more than 1 million dollars?A million dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days

Our best player. As simple as that.

A player who was clearly struggling with his fitness and a niggling injury, who as good as snapped under the sheer weight of attacking responsibility placed on his shoulders by one particular careless individual.

However, if it was up to some on here, in particular a band of Mourinhoistas who I like to call "The f**kwit Five", Hazard would have been flogged to the first bidder and in his place we'd have a team of Willian's creating next to nothing in the final third but being praised for "running around" and "showing desire".

As I said. f**kwits.
