October 31, 201510 yr Happy to see him dropped today, and no surprise that we conceded 2 once he came on. A luxury player who shines when we dominate, but is lacking in what we need right now. If Jose wants to continue playing him, then surely we ned to shift to 433 (which I also think will bring out the best in Matic).
November 1, 201510 yr Fabregas will only shine in teams that dominate possession. His downfall in form coincides with are change from a possesion game to a counter attack game. Fair comment
November 1, 201510 yr He has been utter sh*t the last 8 months. He deserves to be on the bench, there is much more deserving and we would be lucky to sell him on to a Valencia, Athletico or PSG
November 2, 201510 yr Fabregas will only shine in teams that dominate possession. His downfall in form coincides with are change from a possesion game to a counter attack game. Well if he wants more possession of the ball, go and get the f**king thing !
November 2, 201510 yr Well if he wants more possession of the ball, go and get the f**king thing ! Lol. You're right though coco
November 2, 201510 yr I don't know how up to date you guys are on the recent 'story' that one player has come out recently and said they would rather lose for Mourinho than win for him but from what I'm reading it turns out it's Cesc that's leading this mini revolt in terms of not liking the teams style of play under the manager. If there's any truth in this I think it's disgraceful a player could quite happily take a wage from a club and have that mentality. If true then he shouldn't play for the club again. I just don't get what's happening of late.
November 3, 201510 yr Fabregas just posted on his Facebook page: "I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports form some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea and have an excellent relationship with the manager. There maybe certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again."

Hopefully that puts all the stories of a player revolt to bed.
November 3, 201510 yr Well if he wants more possession of the ball, go and get the f**king thing ! We have dominated possesion in most games that we have lost But agree with abvoe
November 3, 201510 yr refreshing to see that. Hopefully that puts all the stories of a player revolt to bed. Indeed. All nonsense whipped up by the media
November 3, 201510 yr We have dominated possesion in most games that we have lost But agree with abvoe I think there's a massive difference in dominating possession, and the opposition giving up possesion. I don't think we have played a dominant possession game since last year. The smaller teams let us have the ball and play on the counter, we do the same against our rivals. We don't play a strong enough possession game to get the best out of fabregas. Having only played for arsenal, barca, and Spain, he would very rarely have played in a game where they were set upto counter. It's okay saying, if he wants more of the ball he should go and get it, but there is no movement, and not enough players all on the same wavelength. Which is why our best chances of scoring have been winning the ball high, counter, or a set piece. Teams let us have the ball because we struggle to hurt them with it.
November 3, 201510 yr Yeap we are just desperately out of form and it makes everyone look bad.. even the reigning player of the year not to mention the reining leading assist winner.I've always thought his change of pace was too slow for that central midfield role, but from his post game interviews last season and this season I certainly don't think he's leading any sort of revolt.
November 3, 201510 yr Cesc looks pumped for training today. https://vine.co/v/e3VtlFMBu1T Nothing says pumped like clapping nick-nack-paddywhack
November 3, 201510 yr Nothing says pumped like clapping nick-nack-paddywhack Don't think those claps matter, he seemed eager for training to start. Edited November 3, 201510 yr by Zinc
November 4, 201510 yr As Bobby said, this should kick him up the arse and he should give us the game of his life.
November 6, 201510 yr This (from Barney Ronay in the Guardian) made me laugh: At times this season Fàbregas has sidled about the pitch with all the unbound attacking zeal of a three-wheeled shopping trolley. King of the assist, a player often defined by his hard stats, Fàbregas hasn’t scored or created a goal for Chelsea away from home since April and hasn’t had a shot on target in the Premier League since September. He has, in effect, been Chelsea’s own Secret Footballer.
November 6, 201510 yr This (from Barney Ronay in the Guardian) made me laugh: Hah very good, Iv'e heard him called a few things, turnstile, revolving door, but the three wheeled shopping trolley is a new one.
November 6, 201510 yr Nothing says pumped like clapping nick-nack-paddywhack Superb, even if I have ruined my keyboard by spitting beer all over it
November 7, 201510 yr Is he serious? Please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong. I mean, he hasn't started today against Stoke, as a professional, a player on his level I expect to see him coming into the game with motivation, joining the atmosphere of the game but where is all that? Instead of trying to get himself back into the starting line, improve his football with us, get back to his form, but he does nothing from that. He sent few balls to the attack, but they didn't help us even to create a chance. He's in poor form like most of our players, but there are no steps that show that. He is not running after balls, he doesn't even try to win any tackles, he losing so much balls as a CM, why do we need that? Why players like Loftus-Cheek need to watch the game as a fan and not to play for us? Maybe RLC is an improvement for this lazy player?
November 7, 201510 yr Is there a medical condition that prevents you from running after youve given the ball away? Is it called Cesc Fabregitis perhaps?
