March 3, 201412 yr Matic-Ramires-Willian sounds like an absolute nightmare of a midfield, we wouldn't be able to keep the ball for more than about ten seconds.
March 3, 201412 yr Willian is very good defensively, one of the best we have. His ability to hold the ball and get it back from opposition is brilliant but he is not very adventorous attacking-wise. Schurrle is much braver going inside the box and looking for the shot but if he is not constantly feeded in the game he goes missing. Finishing is top class with Andre as we saw against Fulham. Versatility we have within the squad is what makes us Prem champion candidates along with City.

Yeah but we would get it back almost immediately, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away, then give it away, then get it back, then give it away etc......
March 3, 201412 yr I would prefer Oscar rather than Willian in a midfield 3. Oscar Matic Luiz/Ramires Edited March 3, 201412 yr by jack_super_class
March 3, 201412 yr On CTV, Spy asked Andre what it was like to hear the fans sing his name? What was the song they were singing?

March 7, 201412 yr First two goals cooly taken with technically his "weaker" foot. You didn't see sturr make a hat trick with two from his right foot first- point being he's moved on to become a forward instead of playing as an out and out winger Maybe next season Andre and lukaku will get some playing time together...
March 8, 201412 yr If he scores the winner next game I'll crown him King Schurrle. No other player is going to get it!
March 9, 201412 yr Was poor yesterday, think consistency is something that will come with experience Exactly. I am glad people weren't clambering to their keyboards to write him off again yesterday. He actually made some very good runs but wasn't picked out. I think one was by Eto'o where if Eto'o squared it rather than try a shot it would have been a simple goal for Andre. Another was a great run that he made drawing defenders out wide and inexplicably Ramires rather than run or pass into space decided to follow Andre and tapped it forward to him when he was no offside. So, not only will he get better with experience, I think the rest of the team will start to understand his routes.
March 9, 201412 yr I think I read it on here, or maybe a different forum, but someone said that Andre always scored multiple goals in one game but then would go a few games without scoring at all in his days in Germany. So I wouldn't expect to see him scoring that regularly. He doesn't always score, but when he does, he scores 2 or 3.

It'd be ideal if it was 1 every game or so rather than bunch every few or something but it's fine. . Think he'll be our walcott tbh. Edited March 10, 201412 yr by MANoWAR
March 22, 201412 yr To me when we are facing a club that doesn't put us under pressure Schurrle is massively better option than Willian; he is actually very good in the final third - scoring loads of goals(already 7 in the League which is one less than Eto'o); and provides an avenue for our attacking midfielders due to his movement.
March 22, 201412 yr Worked his socks off today his closing down was impressive. 7 goals so far in the league in your debut season, not playing in every game and also not much in his fav left position is a good return i think. He is more direct and gives us something different and his movement off the ball is good. Great option for counter attacks.
