The reporter said that it's amazing he played every second of our league campaign this season when 2 years ago some said he was incapable of playing twice a week. JT quickly replied along the lines of "It was just one person who said that, whoever that was I can't remember him."

As odd as it sounds, I was quite surprised that he sent condolences publicly. I thought it was a bit risky given Rio and Terrys history.

Good move though but perhaps it could have backfired.

Carlo Ancelotti called him “the captain of all team captains”. Fabio Capello, who knows a thing or two about pure defending having coached Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi and Fabio Cannavaro, considered Terry the only England player who didn’t shrink when he put on the shirt.

This man is the heart and soul of the club! He's literally achieved everything possible here and the way he conducted himself on Sunday was first class in every respect from celebrating with his teammates, to sending out his condolences publicly to Rio and his family and of course making a subtle dig towards the FSW!

 

Seriously one of the greatest players the club has ever seen and I've ever seen!

They don't make centre backs like JT anymore, he's a dying breed and one of if not the last of his kind just now.

It's going to be near impossible to replace him like for like.

39 goals currently. Does anyone think he can reach 50 by the end of next season?
