Simply put...the greatest ever Chelsea player.

I wouldn't think that there's much doubt that WILL happen.. 

I think this season has finally put JT up there as the greatest Chelsea player EVER ... By a long way.

The thought of Chelsea without Terry fills me with absolute dread.

 

It will be almost as hard to replace him as it would be Hazard. No player has that organisation and leadership that he has right now. I don't even think Kurt is that type of player, Kurt is more technical and even though he will turn out to be a top centre back, even better than Cahill I think he will always be mistake prone. 

 

As for JT he will be very hard to replace, not sure where we can even start to look for his replacement I really don't. 

I think any other player in our team could be replaced but to find another John Terry? Seems impossible. A man that bleeds blue and has the talent to warrant a place in the first team. England's loss was our gain, I think had he been playing international football alongside the club it would be too much for his body to handle but he's coping so well as it is now with sometimes 2 games in a week.

Read some of the non-negative press about JT and you'll see what kind of man he really is.

    Same here, JT for me, an incredible season for this seasoned Chelsea veteran. Consistent throughout the season, whether we were playing an open expansive style or as we saw v the Goons when in our "they shall not pass" mode. Different class to those of his contemporaries of 14 odd seasons, R*o, Jagthingymabob, Carrager, Skirtel, Smalling not even in the same class as our fella. I would venture to suggest that JT is in the same category as Sir Bobby Moore and Adams, we could debate who of the three has been the best long into the night, that is my opinion.....................

    Our friend, a certain R Ferdinand, is on back page of the sun saying he's not afraid to say that JT has been outstanding this season despite their history...that's jolly decent of you old chap...I suppose given your lack of playing time at relegation fodder qpr, you've had plenty of time to watch how defending should be done
