Shame if he leaves, though he has never quite been consistent enough. Leaves some great memories though, some wonderful goals and some excellent games, but not quite enough.

Not much at all IMO, all Ramires was doing was providing depth in what yes was quite a few positions but even still he has been needed in the match day squad for some time, and his parting will just mean some of our talented youngsters might have to fill in and provide that extra depth if an injury crisis occurs.

RB with Ivan, Azpi and Zouma all capable RB's the loss of depth won't really be noticed but it could mean Aina will have more of a chance at RB.

At CM RLC had already overtaken him in the pecking order but someone like Musonda, Palmer or Colkett could benefit as 5th choice,

There isn't really any great RW talents in the Youth system but I suppose Remy/Pato might benefit with extra game time or Musonda could come in with a slight re-shuffle. But with 3 more capable Rws in Willian, Pedro and Oscar again this won't really reduce our strength in depth. 

So really his Versatility as great as it is won't actually be missed too much. The only thing that might be missed is how good he was when we played for the counter, but this doesn't seem to be how the club wants to play so again this situational need  shouldnt be missed.

He scored some blinders (THAT goal v Barca, that one against City, etc) and I always respected his energy and drive. 

 

It's a shame he was so inconsistent and had absolutely garbage close control and passing. Couldn't play a straight pass to his own team-mate to save his life.

 

I'm a bit meh about this transfer, if true. What I do know is that we can easily get someone better/already have someone better in our yout set-up
