He's still young, he has lots of time to improve, I hope this season on loan will do him the world of good and he comes back next year ready to fight for a place.

It really wouldn't surprise me to see rlc and/or chalobah start for England in the world cup next year. England are really short on quality in centre midfield, and Southgate knows both players extremely well from the u21's. 

It's a big season for rlc, it will be interesting to see him develop with consistent game time in the premier league. 

Whether he gets a shot here is anyone's guess, but if rlc and abraham have stellar seasons in the premier league, would they be willing to come back here as squad players?

That would be fascinating to see them get a starting place for England. Interesting prospect too.

Because he's better than than Chalobah. Much more potential to develop into a real talent.

Looked tidy enough but nothing to justify all the hype.

Early days for him at Palace. But unless he starts bossing games or starts turning in some real noteworthy performances, he will struggle to get in our 1st 11.

Interesting to see Palace playing him as a number 8.  He played more of a 10 in his early years did he not, and then again in the few appearances that Conte gave him.

He looks absolutely bang average to me, does nothing to stand out. Would be great if he developed into a real olayer with regular game time, but it sure doesnt look that way to me.

Cups-group stage? Nat is more than capable to be starting for us in PL games.

I will make a statement that wont be taken well by a lot, but he is a better CM option in a 2man mid than Cesc has EVER been.

De Boer wont last long

Looks a good debut from that clip. But there were never any doubts about his work on the ball. I must watch the replay to see if he did anything off the ball.

Hope De Boer can get the best out of him.

Wish we had him around for next weekend...

Another great game from Ruben both in attack and defensively when needed. The real gem in what was a shocking day for Palace. Still firmly believe he can make it, just needs a manager to believe in him.
