Team of bottlers. Still gained a point but we keep loosing leads and it's not good enough. Mentally very weak.

It's very poor from us.

In the first 8-9 games, we used to hit the ground running at the start, at it from the kick off. It used to set the tone for the rest of the game. Now we look labored from the beginning itself and hand the initiative to the opposition.

With the money we've spent our attacking play is f**king woeful. Bar Hazard we don't have one match winner in that team, who'll grab it by the scruff of the neck and do it themselves, absolutely atrocious watching us today. Pish poor. Refereeing was a joke as well, we had a penatly on Ivan where he stood on his ankle, then the identical tackle to Matic pen but wasn't given? Absolutely shocking.

Having said that there is no excuse, I'm sorry if people like players who run around a lot (so do I) but Jose has got Willian & Oscar so wrong, they are absolutely awful attacking players. Pose no threat whatsoever to the opposition.

Jose has really f**ked up with some of his transfers. We have spent so much in attack and yet all the weight is still on hazard to produce every game, because Willian Oscar and Cuadrado just do nothing.

Without any doubt, this could be the most boring, negative, worse side to win a PL title.

We started so well too.

He loses the ball every time it's passed to him.  Woeful so far!!

southampton set up well and played a good game, but we should have won that. we are playing sh*t recently and matic was way off, which made a difference in the first half, as well as ivan doing his usual disappearing act on that right flank when we need him back defending. 

What I hate, is the complete lack of desire to get a shot off.

 

Every time we attack, it's 4 or 5 players around the edge of the box, trying to find a miracle gap between 9 defenders....which is inevitably not there. 

 

Why don't we take a speculative shot every now and then? The opposition defenders know exactly what we're trying to do, and it's easy to stop. If we took some shots, we'd create some doubt in the mind of the defenders, and maybe then, they'd make a rash decision, and leave a gap open. Everything we try and do in attack is so obvious, it's no wonder we struggle to find the end product at times.

I suspect these boys - Oscar, Willian and Ramires - are not brazilians. What a lack of skills, speed, passes, control, shooting... if even they are brazilians we have bought the most untalented in history. 

We just wasted the whole first half.

I accept everyone of our players are sh*t and weak when they are pressing us, what i dont accept is us not pressing them back and playing so slow like that first half.

Made the best runs off the ball of our attackers. Rarely lost the ball, always looked forward.

 

Might have had a quiet second half but he looked good in the second.

No overreaction here, the fact us not many will mind us losing, it's the manner we are doing it. We could of been 3-1 down at half time ,

I can't understand why Diego keeps pulling out wide, I thought he was a poacher. Did you see the Bamford goal yesterday when he spun the last defender and was clear on goal ? I can't remember the last time Costa did that.

I know wining the league is ultimately what it's all about but wining the league playing like we have since November will leave it feeling a little hollow. It feels that we're just the best of a bad bunch. And as things are, I'm far from convinced that we will win the league. I can't see where the level of performance needed is coming from. Just have to hope that City continue to be poor and that Arsenal can't maintain their form I guess.

Bertrand was fantastic tonight i thought. Defended well, played some dangerous balls into the area and he had something Mourinho loves, work rate. I don't know why he is thought as average by some, he's been one of the best defenders and full backs in the league this season.

Better second half performance. Unlucky not to get that winning goal but Southampton should have already been 2 or 3 up at half time. Every Southampton attack seemed to come down our right side. Six points clear with a game in hand but our form looks worrying.

Poor performance, should have started Cuadrado, shouldn't have started Oscar and Willian. We wasted chances when we had them today and we have turned into that team that was struggling to break teams down last season. After the PSG game i thought we would see some sort of reaction.

Losing our way completely in this second half of the season. The only positive thing to come from this is that we have moved 1 point clearer, but we're struggling badly to get over the finishing line.

Not sure selecting Cuadrado really is the answer. He came on today against what should have been a tiring defence and looked lost. He is obviously going to struggle due to lack of game time but you. Red to take your chances when you get them and he doesn't look anywhere near capable of playing a full ninety minutes and being effective.

Why the f**k did Jose take off Oscar?! Only one with any movement and only one who looked like scoring!

Also Zouma should have started instead of Cahill. Need the pace, 2 slouch CB's don't cut it anymore.

Clearly I'm in the minority, but I thought that second half was encouraging.

 

We're not at out best, but comments like "embarassing" and "bottlers" is exaggerating to say the least.

 

We were far from our best, but too many people take it as a given that we should win every game.

 

6 points clear, 1 game in hand. I'd rather be in our position than anyone else.

This is the biggest mistake by Jose for me, followed by Mata, I don't care that they didn't run around enough, they provided at the top end of the pitch where they're supposed to. Oscar & Willian could play 5 hours and not score.

At the end of the day when you only turn up for 45 mins then what is there to expect.

I was critical of jose in midweek, but the players need to stand up and be counted. I was suprized zouma didn't start though as mane's pace caused us trouble last time, and I think zouma would have been a better match up.

When JT lifts the trophy I won't give a f**k if we drew every game til the end of the season for it. I will get drunk and I will party. 

People thinks it's an overreaction but just wait to we play Arsenal and United.

If you think we can take points from them in our current form you are sadly deluded.

We have been in horrible form for quite some time now. It's mo good deciding to show up midway through the second half.

This doesn't strike me as a EPL champion side, I'd love to be wrong.
