QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 12/04/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT

Featured Replies

Give him a break, since last December every game terrifies me as well. Nothing is coming easy.

I'm worried to, but I'm actually feeling more optimistic at the moment.

I have believed since last season ended that we would win the title this season and I still do

Couple of Qpha fans on the radio after the Villa draw, both said they won't keep a clean sheet against us and they fear the worst.

Courtios

Brana

Cahill

Terry

Azpi

Ramires

Mikel

Willian

Cesc

Hazard

Remy

Try and get those early goals Joey was on about then take off Cesc before he risks that yellow.

DO not rest key players, remember last time the fat waiter rested Mata and Hazard against QPR? I still get angry remembering that game. If Matic or Cesc get a yellow and we win, I say it's worth it. In a way it's good Costa missing this one, Remy should do the job against his old team, and in a heated game like this, Costa is most likely to be sent to the stand for retaliating. I hope Chris Foy is not the referee, is he?

I'd go for:

Cech

Ivan

Cahill

Terry

Dave

Mikel

Ramires

Willian

Oscar

Hazard

Remy

No need to risk Matic and Cesc right away. They can always come on for the second half depending on how things go.

Has he officiated one of our games since Aston Villa last season? I find it odd that he hasn't taken charge of at least one game of ours this season unless there was a genuine reason, last season's performance may have brought that to the front.

He was referee in our home game against Hull this season.

Andre Marriner is the ref for this one.

WAIT, you just said "DO not rest key player" but then you are saying "In a way it's good Costa is missing this one" because "Costa is most likely to be sent to the stand for retaliating"

I'm sorry but as midfielders, Matic and Fabregas are more likely to make a bad tackle which could warrant them a yellow card (and will keep them out of BOTH the United and Arsenal matches).  If I had a choice I personally would have rather risked losing Costa to a Red card knowing we had Remy as our backup, than risk losing Fabregas or Matic to a single Yellow card (with Ramires, Mikel and Zouma) as their backups.  The drop off is much more significant in the latter than it is in the former.

Fecking derbies are annoying! Is mikel fit yet? because I would be tempted to rest matic and fabregas for this as we need them to play vs le arse.

Arsenal away could be a title decider. Surely we need Matic and Cesc for that match.

No wonder we threw away a two goal lead - saved Foy from having to award them penalties and send our players off. Clever.

No, it was the first match against Hull, where Hull gave us every 50-50 decision, quite surprisingly.   Still did not make up for his horrible decisions in past matches against us.

He rested loads of people - Turnbull, Bertrand, Marin and Moses all started that game, although I think Cech might have been injured.

Ah okay thanks, my bad, forgot the game the other week was away.

I do like Andre Mariner, seems to be very fair, and we always seem to play well in his matches.  Reminds me of a ref from years back, Styles was his last name, where we always played well in his matches.

Cesc is set for surgery in Italy: http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2015/4/8/8367775/cesc-fabregas-nose-injury-charlie-adam-menace-to-society

Not sure if that will rule him out or not, he might be looking doubtful.

Honestly were he to miss QPR game I don't think I'd be too worried. Actually think Ramires might be a better option for this one simply cause of the tempo of the game and with this Cesc avoids a potential suspension.

Would love for Rio to play in this game, Remy or Hazard would almost definitely take a peno off him.

Papers have dredged up the JT/Ferdinand thing...AGAIN....quoting Cahill saying the rather bleeding obvious that JT will handle going to Loftus rd etc...given racism thing is old news now, the game was four years ago, think JT can cope, especially as he's been back there a few times already...everyone has moved on, except our national media it seems
