Isco

Featured Replies

It's tough at the top, as most Chelsea players find out sooner or later. WhileOscar is seemingly a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge, various rumours over recent months suggest that Jose Mourinho is ready to let the Brazilian playmaker go.

The Mirror reports that helsea could ditch the 23-year-old in favour of Spain international Isco, but that Real Madrid have turned down a £20 million bid from the Blues.

He is one of the very few players that might be affordable and would make the starting 11. He was good to watch last season.

No way can I see Madrid selling Isco, fairly sure most their fans want him in the team ahead of Bale, they'd be livid if he left.

They loved Ozil too. But you're right, Perez isn't stupid enough to consider selling two very popular Spanish players in the same window (Ramos + Isco), especially not after last season.

The only way Isco leaves is if he's further marginalized and becomes expendable, but I don't see it happening anytime soon, unless Rafa buys Gareth Barry as a replacement (you know you want to, Rafa).

Anyway, the rumour is probably rubbish, especially with the price quoted and the source (The Mirror). It's about as believable / insulting as the "offer" Juve made for Oscar. No chance Isco goes for anything less than 30-35m and even that might be underestimating it. Madrid are a club that sell high.

Gotze would be a very good signing.

Seems to be we are keeping most of our business quite this time around, bar begovic and the already loaned falcao.

Unless that is all we intend to do.

He was their best player last season, their fans love him, and they are a club that outspends us, City, Barcelona, and PSG... so do we really need this topic?

Not happening!

Haven't seen too much of him. I'm sure Cesc, Dave and Diego would love to have him in the team though. BUT again if we want to improve he is the calibre we need to do just that.

Real Madrid fans are f**king idiots though. They are never happy with anything.

It's called being 'spoilt'.

What kind of club flicks Mourinho or Ancelotti for Benitez? I suppose we did it a few years back but we've learnt our lesson the hard way and have rectified our mistakes whereas Real Madrid keep going around in circles.

Well firstly I think Isco is exactly what we need secondly id take him over that little prat sterling any day of the week and lastly the optimist approach is this: apparently we had a 20 mil bid rejected, our player acquisition team are not clowns they wouldn't bid on an unobtainable player and if they did they would put in a high bid to see if they can ruffle feathers, a low bid says they think he can be got, but want to low ball and see where they can go, a starting bid of 20 means they want to pay 30 but have conceded they will really end up paying 35 to 40

hazard and isco together, f**k me, that would be amazing. isco improved in defence so he is perfect player for mourinho, in my opinion he is the best number 10 in the world, beautiful to watch him, always do something unexpected. "pay to watch something amazing" type of player
