that's a nice sentiment, "foreign" fans aren't real fans just a source of income. As an Englishman living overseas who went to his first Chelsea game when he was 5 I'm glad I can provide your team with financial support.

Need to win this. Still bloody unconvinced.

Good first 20 mins, lots of pressing and quick passing. But we started against Southmpaton well for the first 20 mins, then fell apart as soon as they equalised, so hopefully we won't see a repeat of that.

 

Don't think we've been too bad since then, Baba looks shaky and Fabregas is poor as always, but overall 1-0 is about right probably.

Willian the star with and without the ball his pressing won us the goal and he looks one of the few players with confidence. Ramires is also scrapping for his life in midfield.

Other areas a bit more shaky. Baba in particular is struggling. Ruben could also get on the ball a little more.

It was the right idea, just a horrible pass. Had it reached RLC he had a player free at the back post waiting to score a tap in.

Matic to replace Fabregas to keep the lead. We're leading but we are far away from our best football.

1st time watching baba play, by 1st half display he seemed pretty amateurish, cuadrado moment.. Overall team performance is not much different from the previous matches, can't see when we can genuinely unlock defense for real, well at least we're winning..

Pretty toothless performance, thankfully a lucky break. Defensively, the least we have to do in all matches so far this season, so look like we could hold out for a 1:0. Baba was ok, wouldn't have done better with Ivanovic by what I have seen so far. I hope we kick on, as dull as Villa was, any team could get lucky these days against us.
