And he can and should do that, away from the media or if he wants to use the media then do it at the end of the season, doing it now helps no one and just causes us massive problems.  he was whinging again today about transfers, its so tedious.

Put it this way, did you seriously expect us to get anything from these 3 hard fixtures? The Bournemouth & Watford game for me was the tipping point where we should have made a decision. His negativity, his lack of confidence in the team, the rumours of him wanting to leave all the time and lack of clarification on his future. It was all there for me, I don't see how this suddenly changes anything. If anything I'm surprised that we put in two good performances in those 3 fixtures, we were unlucky against United and very unlucky against Barcelona. 

Conte really isn't that much different to Mourinho when it comes to setting his team up. Don't forget Mourinho also won a title here also, we saw the worst of Conte this season, extreme negativity. I dare say this was City's easiest game this season. 

Pathetic and simply, inexcusable.

The champions of England playing like a division 2 side scrapping for a replay.

No attacking ideas whatsoever, no style of play.

At the end of last season I couldn't imagine myself wanting him to leave, but this season has been nothing but negativity in the media, stubborn, cowardly tactics, being out-thought and out-played on numerous occasions.

We've spent all season trying to play out from the back, and yet every time we get pressurised the players sh*t the bed. It's like he's not even training them to do it properly.

It's quite clear that he has no interest in being here any more. To make no subs until 10 minutes to go, is a slap in the face. Top 4 is basically gone now. I suspect Hazard and Courtois will be off in the summer.

 

At the end of last season I would have called you mad to suggest Conte out, but now I just want the summer to arrive and to get someone in who wants to be here.

 

 

 

Time for Conte to be shown the door.

Has a fractured relationship with Hazard and has clearly lost the dressing room.

Shame because I thought he was different to that odious twat at Old Trafford but they have massive similarities.

Before a big match all he's doing is moaning about transfers, yet again, and yet again it's had the same effect, it's sapped all the spirit from our players. There's been so many performances of late where we've played with no spirit, and this was another one. He can moan about transfers all he wants, trying desperately to deflect blame, but the lack of spirit has f**k all to do with transfers and everything to do with the manager.

 

Pathetic, abject performance and it's entirely down to him. Get him out of our club.

I haven’t been embarrassed to be a Chelsea fan for as long as I can remember, but that came f**king close. Get Conte the f**k out of the Bridge now. That was humiliating. Irrational nonsensical substituions left so late that they were never going to make a difference. Willian for f**king Emerson?!?! Morata for Hazard?!? I can’t even formulate a rational thought right now, I’m so f**king angry.

He’s gotta go, football isn’t like it used to be. The pressure are different now and Conte has completely lost the f**king plot. Get rid before our season gets worse.

I feel so f**king bad for for Giroud too. Went from Arsenal’s Bench to ours and for what? A quality performance against West Brom and decent one against Hull. Just f**k off Conte. 

It takes till the 78th min to make a sub, the worst part is as fans we all knew it. We was f**king awful and it was clear we needed a striker on the pitch, his so bloody stubborn.

Conte can't change a game, then he takes off 2 attacking players and we had a bunch of misfits playing anywhere.

 

He wants the payoff, that can be the only logical reason he's doing these things. He doesn't give a sh*t where we finish, only that he gets his money. Surely there must be a way to get him out without paying him off, if he's clearly doing his job badly.

Right now i'd be delighted if i heard Conte is sacked tonight or tomorrow morning. Relationship between him and the players are completely broken. I predicted that when he threw them all under the bus after Bournemouth and here we are.

Only chance we have to get anything out of the season at this point is getting someone new that could hopefully bring an injection of energy and rejuvenate the players including Hazard who is being broken by the manager right now.

Right, I've gone past the point of being angry at that game so I feel calm enough to write how I actually feel. Conte HAS to go TONIGHT. How dare he come to my club and embarrass us like this. How dare he field a team worth in excess of £200mil+ and claim he's had no money to spend. How dare he slag off our board for lacking ambition and then not field a striker against the best team in the league. How dare he have the audacity to claim we have no ambition, and wait until the 89th minute to bring on a £70mil striker.

 

The writing's been on the wall for months but now the time has come, thank you Don Antonio, last season was fantastic, but your attitude has become toxic to my club and I don't want you here tearing down our club and our players.

Completely agree, he wants the sack and the pay off. It is so obvious from the press conferences/tactics/substitutions. 

I enjoyed the 90th minute substitution of Hazard today to ensure the board removes him this week. Then Conte can have the new job he wants (probably Italy) by the summer.

I think the players are sick and tired of his whining. He's lost the dressing room.

I cannot see how anyone, who put a team out with those tactics and then refused to change things when it went pear shaped, cares in the slightest about the club. It's not about if he has or hasn't lost the players, whether he's struggling to fill gaps that should have been filled in the transfer window; those tactics against City were an embarrassment that shame us all.

There is no way he is this incompetent tactically, he is doing ALL the wrong things including sticking to a losing formula and pissing off our best players by subbing them off.

Late subs, senseless subs and defending to the 80th minute despite losing.

I've backed him before and said he's not trying to get sacked but I can't see it another way, if we can get Carlo in now I'd sack him immediately.

I really thought we'd found the new "SPecial One" last season. That's why it hurts so much. He's out for himself. The fans sing his name every week and he doesn't give a sh*t about them or where the club finishes, as long as he makes it clear to everyone that it's not his fault, it's the board.

Has to go, He's stifling the quality players we have that can make a difference.

Strange isn't it, in the last couple of months many strange substitutions and most of us gave him the benefit of the doubt yet today it has finally sunk in, he is daring the board to sack him.

Maybe its best his manages international teams so then he cant complain about bloody transfers and blame the board etc. He did the same at Juventus and now here, it makes me laugh because what top club will he go to where you have 100% control over transfers?.

really hard to defend him at this point, even for the most rational of fans. it looks like there's no other option than to pull the trigger as soon as possible, or risk damaging the season and damaging the team further

Good one. He wants that huge payout he is rumoured to have in the new contract he signed if he is sacked during the season.
