Alvaro Morata

I don't think that's feasible anymore. There is no way back for him.

In any case, I don't think we'll get Morata either. Auba or Belotti should do. Anything besides that is panic buy.

In honesty Aubameyang is a half panic buy, at his age it's a lot of money, great player for a couple of seasons but represents poor value, having said that is be very happy having him for the time he has left as a top player, people say he is losing pace yet last season was his most prolific to date.

You guys remember Higuian moved to Juve at 28 at around 90 million pounds this time last year, right?

Yeah but Napoli has the Italian version of Levy in charge...

lol Milan is literally buying a new 1st team. 11 players they'll sign this summer if Morata goes there.

300m in 1 window

Rumour has it that they are after Renato Sanches too.

yes so far they spent 170 m, with Morata they would go close to 250 and they are also negotiating with Bayern for the Portuguese midfielder. It is also true that only a small part of this cash will be going out this year (40m so far) . They are betting on CL and a fast increase of their turnover.

I hope  Chelsea does not leave Morata to Milan, it would be another very sad moment to see him with that shirt.

Honestly, if the rumours are true that Morata doesn't even consider Chelsea as a feasible option, I think that tells us enough about the player.
We're champions, we're the last English team to win the Champions' League, if that petty man doesn't consider us a viable option, then that's his loss not ours.

I doubt if it's morata not considering us.

Even if it is, with no disrespect to Milan, they're a great club but we shouldn't be losing players to them.
Despite their increased spending ability, I doubt they have the same financial power as us.

It's not because you have the financial power, you can start throwing away money. Besides, AC Milan got new Chinese owners who want to prove themselves and they will throw stupid money at anyone who can kick a ball.

Well that juve fan did say Morata turned down Milan previously, apparently he doesn't want to play for a different team in Serie A. Surely that leaves us as the only option?

I think it's more us than Morata or Real Madrid, honestly think we aren't interested... For some reason

Chill out man. There aren't any statements from the player and the club haven't really made a bid or anything. It's all rumours at this point

You may be misinterpreting his meaning. By "not feasible" Morata might mean a deal can't happen because, when dealing with English teams, Real are asking too much money. Rumoured asking price to Chelsea and United, £80m; to Milan £60m. Note he didn't say 'not desirable', or 'not preferred'. At least he didn't as far as I know.

It's mad how all the top managers in the World end up in the EPL, but it doesn't happen with players.

The Premier League needs to have a big think about this and I very much hope they are doing just that. Continental clubs have been mugging PL clubs off for years. They refuse to sell us the absolute top level players and are able to collect premium fees for players the next level down. They then used that windfall income to fund their ability to keep the players they want and outperform us on the European stage.

I have argued for years that our clubs must discipline themselves. They must stop competing on transfer fees and compete even more heavily on wages instead. Instead of ponying up the extra £20m 'English tax' for a player, offer that extra cash to the player instead. I reckon we'll attract more of the top players that way. Same cost but better result.

Is Morata to Milan confirmed or still rumors? The Italian rumors a month ago had Conte signing for Inter, so I'm still holding some hope. I do not f* understand it if he signs for Milan, despite all their past glory they aren't a 'big' team, and will take 2-3 years at least to be competitive in the CL. If the fee is around 60M, I could only think there's a buy back clause involved, just like they did few seasons ago with Inter. Why would Real has a problem with selling us, or we are too cheap to even pay 60M?

No they are just using Morata so Aubameyang lowers his wage demands, Milan want Aubameyang not Morata

I never thought the Conte rumour was plausible, he is a Juve man. Why would he Join one of their main rivals ? Besides Conte showing up for pre-season should have taken away any doubt about this situation.

I was certain of Bonucci not moving to Milan but since the development there I wouldn't write anything off

SIGNED

Leonardo Bonucci
André Silva
Andrea Conti
Hakan Calhanoglu
Mateo Musacchio
Ricardo Rodríguez
Lucas Biglia
Franck Kessié

TRYING TO SIGN
Alvaro Morata
Renato Sanches

Funny thing is we have been associated with most of these players.Maybe Conte gave both clubs the same shopping list???

Also, if the new Milan owners are spending so much, wont they be serious enough to first look for a World Class manager?

Anyways, I really hope this doesnt turn out to be true
