The disaster of a season has been self inflicted and caused by Mourinho. We may have not been first or second but 100% Jose's petulant actions and decision making were a massive detriment to this club.

It really grinds my gears how he somewhat thought he was bigger than the club and some of our fans will just lap up anything he says. Every week I read stupid excuse after stupid excuse which was highly embarasssing only for his worshipers to say he was on a mastemind trick taking pressure of the team. Next week same rubbish performance and same outburst.

Ive also seen some so called Chelsea fans wishing him luck in his new job hoping that he succeeds, sticks to fingers up at the club and makes us regret sacking him. Imo that is a foolish and dis loyal outlook. If he goes to Utd he is the enemy it is as simple as that.

The only disloyal ones are the club hierarchy who decided to fire him over his misfiring players. Even I say there's no place in modern day football for managers to get "time" but you don't sack a manager once before and go on a managerial merry go round and in the course of it win everything then bring the man who everyone knows always will feature in a top 3 list. If you want relevance not short term trophy wins but actual relevance and respect in the football world you back that man over the players. That's what Fergie had. Be hard for any modern day manager to stand similar chance against today's primadonna footballers but you fire a man in December after a double win the previous season and a contract extension you're fickle and don't deserve his loyalty. Let's call a spade a spade in world football today despite their current travails Man Utd is a bigger club than Chelsea and the best managers will attract the attention of the big clubs. A lot was said about Bobby Charlton's opposition to Mourinho managing them but how come the rumours are rife. It's because on a real level people know Mou has the ability to do a job at Man Utd. The board weren't disloyal when they sold a long term servant against the manager's wish to a direct rival but the manager is disloyal if he gets sacked and joins a direct rival?Give him a break!!

So you & others keep trotting out. Can you do me a favour? I want you to go back through the entirety of this thread if need be and isolate one post wherein a poster has stated that Jose 'doesn't make mistakes', 'has never made mistakes' etc etc.

Lack of transfer is still no logical excuse for the club position prior to his sacking.. Like lots of level headed fellas said, bad season for club like chelsea is languishing around top 6 and I doubt he would be sacked if that's the case.. do you know that arsenal only got cech during the summer? didn't see them collapsing the same way..

I've not talked about issues I know nothing about. I don't make arguments based on speculation. Only fachts like our Spanish waiter would say. I love Mourinho no apology. He changed the game believe it or not. I don't like him so much now cos I feel he got a lot of things wrong and so stubborn and unwilling to learn from his mistakes. The board doesn't have to deliver top signings every year to be competitive. We shouldn't be in the bottom 5 after 10 games and that's where you know players are selling manager down a river. It's the same manager and same players that achieved success so fault can't be just with the manager. The so called Hazard and Oscar and others were here two seasons ago why didn't they win the league for us. I'm not upset they didn't. Winning is not any one teams' sole right. Just don't call a man whose job description is managing top football teams disloyal because he gets sacked from one top club and goes to another top club.... In football today not a lot of managers will stand up for a club in the way he did for us at the risk of his own integrity.

No matter who the manager is, what tactics we use, how bad the atmosphere is, there is absolutely no excuse for the players to perform this bad. Have you ever seen Lampard, DD, Essien, Ballack, Maka, Cole, Ricky etc. sitting at 16th? No.

Even though Woodward is pretty much a clown, at least they're actually supporting their managers there. Mourinho building his team with full control professionally means success. He wouldn't have some useless, unqualified rat sitting two rows above the bench waiting to pass misleading info with rotten agendas. Mourinho's Utd are probably winning the title next year with a few smart additions. We're probably winning our board's favorite game, "Roman's lunatic musical chairs".

3 games same team as Jose, only result that may have been different is Watford because Costa had clearly no interest in playing for Jose.

4) give the selling club enough time to line up replacements for their first team regular.... and especially so if making the bidding process so the selling club won't be held hostage to their big fee when shipping for replacements.

You have a manager that wins you the league but then you dont spend any money to reinforce the squad even though he asked.

That is a huge f**k up by the board.

Now if JM (and i believe he did), goes to the board with a list of players to buy and those in charge of buying those players fail to land a single one then they should be fired.

I dont believe for one second that JM agreed to selling Cech to arsenal, to buy Baba, Djilibodi and Falcao.

There is no way in hell that these last 3 players would ever be in contention to challenge for a starting spot.

The tragedy is that 90% of fans, if not more, knew this was the case and vocally supported the manager. And yet the wise old board decided it was time to dispense with Mourinho and back Matic, Hazard and Fabregas to up their form drastically to salvage our season...
