How bad is it

Why rant about Tottenham, City and us? If we were to beat Rostov away now with 5-0 I wouldn't be thinking about Liverpool, City and you guys and how I want to f**k you all and that we're somehow back...

EDIT: But with the score now being 1-1 that would become somewhat difficult... but you should see the state of the pitch plus the fact that it must be frozen. I understand why they beat Bayern.

lol at Manu it really has been a great week for the chels:biggrin:

poor old Jose that pitch looked awful ...Rostov seemed to manage ok:biggrin:

Jose's team selection pretty much confirms that he's taking the Fa cup match before the EL. All the big hitters will play on Monday.

Guess Jose doesn't want another thrashing.

Lyon play some lovely stuff. So did Roma whenever they made headway but Lyon look the real deal. Watching Lacazatte play properly for the first time and he was incredible! Great skill, great passing ability and link up play and what a finish.

Man U's biggest competition in the tournament.

Here here. Totally agree.

If it was a Chelsea pundit, say Lampard, I would still have contempt for him not doing his punditry job properly, a job all of us (inc me) subscribers pay for, including his fee/flight/expenses for the evening.

Take a look at Robbie Savages twitter page, any other game he would be ripping into the ref on those dreadful decisions, but he's completely failed to mention any of it. https://twitter.com/RobbieSavage8?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author

I think we should call them the Stepford Pundits.

Here's a feature on Barca's cheating:

The second penalty was a disgrace. If that's the standard of a penalty, any physical contact inside the box should results in a penalty, we'd get 8:6 games every weekend , just want FIFA wants. I hope next world cup Suraez gets a penalty against England with antics like that, then we will see if the pundits high 5 each other for joy.

Bale was saying English teams don't win the CL because the league is too tough,.I guess French teams won't win it either, they just never get the kind of high pressure games in the league. I don't see any top half in the EPL would surrender a 4:0 lead and concede 3 in the last 10, apart from Arsenal of course.

Just look at the minute, I just can't believe.

That should be our goal celebration next time we play Barcelona ... the whole team running towards their six yard area ...

It`s not so much the cheating from barca that irates me....it`s the total blase of indifference from the media and pundits who pick and choose when to be outraged from cheating and diving or other discrepancies from certain players and brushed over to others.....w**kers!

Every team in Europe cheats, the bigger teams in the UK including Chelsea get the majority of decisions specially at home. It's the same with the biggest clubs in Europe like Barca, Bayern and Real. It has happened for many years and will continue to happen. The only answer is to give the player in question a 6 match ban but then that still might not stop players.

I remember Drogba use to go down like he was shot for a big fella, it was embarrassing. It doesn't take a lot for Costa to go down either. Players are not stupid and in Europe your more likely to get the decisions regarding fouls. Suarez knows with 80k plus fans, the noise, the pressure and it will take a lot of balls to send a Barca player off for 2 dives.  It's not right but it's been going on for years.

In the Barca game the first one was a defo pen but the ref didn't even give it, the goal official actually did something for once and it was a good decision. Then his consistency went because he could clearly see Suarez dived but he bottled it. The ref couldn't really see it and I would say from his angle it looks a foul.

I doubt any team in the prem would hold a 4-0 win from the first leg against Barca.

Don't be fooled by the red roses, blue is the main colour on this one. It's Chelsea.
