one thing about David Luiz for Chelsea, he was always a big game player! 

well we do need some personality back at the club and a leader in the team, that's for sure. however, considering he was prone to lapses of concentration, is that really what we want in an already fragile defence? 

We pulled PSG's pants down for him the first time round.

dont get me wrong, he's a great guy but he's a bombscare.

 

nonetheless if it does I'll support him.

ID HAVE HIM ANYDAY OVER CAHILL. Plus him and Matic in midfield in big games.. man that was amazing.. how we owned City at Etihad! xD

Always liked him. Still this pretty much underlines the desperation. 

Hope this does not happen. He is not very consistent, capable of sending us packing with a last minute goal, but also capable of one of the poorest performances I've ever seen in football, when he played for Brazil in the World Cup (and especially against Germany). I'm not a big fan of him and wouldn't be very excited to see him back.

That's a very good point. Does have tjat ability to rise to an occasion..scored the odd important goal as well

We desperately need personality and leaders in the team.  He s the type of player that brings a team closer with his personality.

I know he s prone to the odd heads gone moment but he s also capable of some proper magic. 

Tbh he was a personal favourite of mine along with Ivanovic and Davey A. 

It really looks like this will happen. Twitter is going mad over this. 

Got to hand it to our Board. Three transfer windows to come up with a centre back and we are in talks to bring back David Luiz.

What the hell, maybe Conte can turn him into Bonnucci...

It's a strange one. He certainly is a liability at times but so is Gary Cahill and for all his frailties he is still a better defender than a lot of the other targets we have gone after and failed to get.  Bottom line is we need someone and we are running out of time. Given that it might not be the worst move ever. 

This is actually going to happen.

The fact I think he would improve us quite a bit especially with Kante in front of him and the fact I'm pretty excited about this shows where we are at defensively. Personally although he was a liability I rather liked him, the celebration for PSG will take a bit of forgiving though.

He's seemed to be quite good on Chelsea in the last year or so.
