i was looking around online for designs on our potential new kits for the 17/18 season, and i come across these. i think they look fantastic and i would be excited to see our players in both the away and third kits. the white/gold one looks lovely. the orange & black is very nice too. i think everyone here would love the yellow kit to return though, and i share the same sentiments in that. a yellow third kit and the white/gold kit would be my wish for the new season.

your thoughts on these designs, and what would you like to see?

Is this official? Not much has changed. Hopefully, we will do retro.

Now we're talking. These are all great. Especially the yellow one.

Hmmm... :huh2: Not sure if you're serious.

I am very excited for the new kits to be unveiled. Nike have a very talented team of designers and so it's safe to say that we will be spared with another disappointment like last summer.

Brings a tear to my eye, I challenge any 40+ year old  fan not to get nostalgic over this one?

Bought the home and away for 83/84 both have red in them and no one minded!!

My current boss used to work as head of brand and identity for QPR, and he said Nike left a lot of the kit design, colours etc up to the club. Not sure if that varies from club to club, or depends on how bothered Nike are (can't imagine they were too fussed about QPR :laugh2:), but the email from them earlier in the thread suggests it's true for the Chelsea partnership too.

All I'm hoping for is a nice yellow away kit. Just a simple, classy blue home kit with white details is fine by me after the pyjama print this year. Camo third kit would actually be pretty cool imo. I haven't had a new shirt, at full price, since I was a kid and my parents bought it for me...! Just got the Adidas Originals lifestyle shirts occasionally since, and one from Sports Direct. I'd be all over a yellow one though.

I expect these will be failrly accurate, getting evident that the powers that be could give a f**k about tradition. They pump out the same white and black kits each season, a yellow one every 10 years to satisfy the old shool fans, then go back to black kits, which has nothing to do with the tradition or history of this club, not saying I haven't liked any, but am completely bored with them.

I love the third kit, reminds me a lot of the Ajax away kit, which is lovely. The white is nice too, nice mixture of shades there, but the home kit is disappointing looking, the dark sleeves REALLY don't suit it.

I'm not a big fan of Nike's designs. Most years they're my least favourite designs out of the big brand manufacturers. I much prefer Puma and Umbro and even Adidas is usually better than Nike.

Dont like these new kits.

- The darker shade on the arms is hideous.

- Patterns on the shirts are terrible.

Totally agree.

think those are just prototype designs from fans, check footyheadlines for the 'official' leaks

Yeah they're clearly amateur mock-ups. The designs are all terrible too, whoever put them together has no idea about design.
