Like Lamps, Wisey was a bit of a slow starter at Chelsea. You always know if your hated by rival fans then in a way it's a sort of compliment to you as a player, I can remember Mark Hughes being disliked as a united player, but every fan in the 80's would of loved him in their side, I remember Tony Adams being disliked and given all the donkey noises back in the 80's but he became a top draw centre back and captain for Arsenal, but the best one of all are the pikies disliking lamps, so funny to hear them all saying fat this and fat that, but Frank won it all with us, if he'd stayed at that shambles of a club he would of won an fa cup runners up medal in 2006 and a couple of promotions. No doubt Hazard is top draw and by far our best player at present, but got to say Robben was a level above Hazard, sadly Robben suffered a lot of injuries especially it seemed with us, but what he  has done on the biggest of stages through his career, not to say Hazard can't equal that but at present it's Robben for me

Footballing wise I would agree that Robben is ahead of Hazard. Some of Robben's dribbling and crossing, along with his finishing was first class. Imagine him fully fit and available for every game during his time here. 

Diego Costa is better than any #9 being deployed at the moment - as I watched Chelsea hosting Barca, I couldn't help thinking out immense DC would have been vs that backline - there were times that Barca simply manhandled Eden - Eden isn't a #9 & wasn't Di Matteo fired for attempting a similar setup vs Conte's Juve? - not seeing why this remains as a viable option for CFC

Courtois is overrated beyond belief by chelsea fans - he’s on apar with keepers like Pickford. I might actually be being kind, I can’t remember the last time I seen Tibo make a save and think ‘f**k me, how did he save that’

 

Willian on top form is better than Hazard - much more direct and looks dangerous when on song.

 

Hazard is also overrated, goes missing far too often to be put in the truly ‘world class’ bracket - will never ever get near the level of Messi or Ronaldo or the players in the bracket below such as Neymar & co.

Agree 100% with point one.

Point two, I don't agree with. On their day, Hazard is the better player. He's virtually unstoppable when he's in form.

Point three, I do think he's world class but I don't think he's in the upper echelon. You can be world class but also be overrated at the same time.

Re; point two - maybe a difference of opinion but even when Hazard is on form, he infuriates me by constantly going back and beating a man for a second time, instead of just keeping the speed of the attack going. Even on form his decision making of when to pass & shoot is really poor.

 

Re; point three - We’ll need to agree to disagree, doesn’t turn up in big games consistently enough. Very good player on his day but not world class for me.

You make a very good point about Hazard. I also get fed up of the slowing down play to then re take that player on that he's just gone by. It's infuriating. Willian definietly uses his pace better than Hazard does that's for sure.

I think you were looking for the "Popular opinions about Chelsea" Thread. 

On Courtois I agree. The guy is useless, and the sooner he f**ks of back to Spain the better. 

Willian is by far our most consistent performer up front, but even he has his off days. Hazard is our most skillful and most technical player, but blows hot and cold far too often to be truly world class! 

Courtois is a quality keeper who had a bad night.

This is the first bit of consistency Willian has shown in his entire Chelsea career.

Currently old chap...... Currently he is our most consistent forward. Maybe I should have added that into my post, but the point still stands. He is far more consistent than anyone else we have playing up front at the moment.

Depends on who wins the cups, City won the EFL and as long as Southampton don't win the FA Cup then 6th will get it. Although in that scenario if Arse win the Europa this season and get a CL spot we'll get a Europa spot even if Saints do win the Cup.
