I will use whatever word I like, mate. Specially given that the day light saving made it that now the late matches start at 1:15am and some of us have some personal lives. So please take your prejudice and put it on someone else.

As for the bet. Money and emotion are 2 different entities. I understand, so don't need your judgement on my loyalty.

You have no loyalty at all if you bet on Chelsea to lose. I don't normally comment on this section I usually stay on the vintage but I do read most posts. I have to say your the only poster I have no time for you dismiss everyone's opinion with your arrogance and boorishness and you seem to relish getting into spats. Don't worry I've said my piece you won't hear from me again but when you woke up on Wednesday what was your overriding emotion gutted that Chelsea lost or happy that you won some money ?.

The post included my reaction to it, if you cared enough for reading it.

Just a couple of posts on the previous page would show how wrong you are on your analysis of me. Maybe you should spend more time reading stuff. Not saying I don't get into a spat, but who does not.

So really, simply don't get your agenda. You have no time for me, yet you are digressing the topic specially when you clearly did not need to.

I feel we need to show support for Conte, so I propose on the 30th minute (Most wins we've ever had in a season thanks to Conte) We stand up and applause for a whole minute, shouting Antiono as much as we can.
Show Roman that we're supporting the manager, not the players or the board. We trust in Conte and we're sick of the sack culture.

If we didn't have our "sack culture" we would not have achieved what we have done under Roman.

If we went by the wishes of the average Chelsea fan on certain decision's Ranieri would have stayed which would have meant no Jose while AVB and Jose mark 2 would have been "backed" meaning no CL triumph or Conte. You only need to look at Man.Utd, they clung on to Moyes and LVG for months after it was clearly broken and are still feeling the consequences to this day. I mean a big argument to keep Jose was stability, well what was happening in 15/16 was as far from stability as it was possible to get.

We have been a perfectly stable club for the most part under Roman, there's more than one way (the same manager for year's) to skin a cat.

Going into this not expecting the most but Conte and our blues have pulled it out of the bag unexpected before so keeping the faith...

Id say best route to victory is surprise - it could be bats and morata up front in a 2 drop hazard deeper, or moving Luiz into midfield with Baka and hopefully Kante... I really don't know, I can't imagine conte is going to play the same team that played Roma.... Hoping to see Christensen in at a minimum because he really does ooze class and every other CB is underperforming at the moment.

History is on our side with Utd always finding us away a tough game.

Regardless of the result, we have to see fight here, the 2nd half vs Roma was very concerning, I don't buy into the medias hard on to paint a constant crisis at Chelsea but it's clear that there are issues that need to be resolved, best way to do it is on the pitch!

Forgive me for not being confident - I really hope we win, I hope we thrash them off the park. And maybe the media and results all going against us, and the shock of defeat midweek, will spur us on to get a famous victory. That's the only hope I have right now.

But Cahill is definitely starting. Which for me always makes it 1-0 to the opponent before kick off. Every time I see his name on the team sheet I despair and fear for the result - and it's justified.

Honestly, Conte's determination to stick with Cahill, who is clearly not in our best back 3 (I'd say even Christensen starts above him), is becoming akin to Jose's stubborn faith in Ivanovic when he was clearly past it, and it's costing us goals.

The stats back up this argument conclusively.

Of the 11 games he has played this season, we've only kept clean sheets in 2. And one was against Quarabag. We've conceded 20 goals in those games.

We conceded 2 to Crystal Palace (who can't score for toffee right now), 2 to Watford & 1 to Man City in the league (plus the 3 in the game he was sent off, Burnley), 1 to Arsenal in the community shield, 1 to Forest and Everton each in the league cup. Plus 3 to Roma twice.

In 11 games he has started we have conceded 17 goals, 20 including Burnley when he wasn't on the pitch. That's 2 per game when he is in the team.

In the 5 games he's not played, all in the PL, we've conceded a grand total of 2 goals. That's about 0.5 goals a game without Cahill. And that includes Tottenham away, Everton at home (when they were in good form going into that game), and Leicester away (when they were scoring goals for fun).

He should not be in the team, yet alone be captain. The real captain, and organiser of our defence, is Dave. Whenever he goes to RWB our defence looks disorganised, and leaderless.

So sadly I expect us to concede at least one, possibly two on Sunday, Lukaku and Matic most likely, and Matic to get MOTM and everyone say why we shouldn't have sold him. If Cahill plays, and especially if Kante doesn't play, that's the most likely outcome sadly.

If Cahill doesn't play, Kante plays, and Dave plays RCB, then we have a chance.

imagine if matic has a good game and utd win? my god the appraisal for them and the pointing fingers at us for letting him go will be nauseating. i so hope the team come out and play the best football this season and get the 3 points, i really do.

imagine if Lukaku gets the winner! it would be unbearable!

Not looking forward to this, but at the same time, it doesn't suit mourinho to come here with expectations of victory. He likes to be the underdog. If kante plays I think we will win.

It's not been great so far this season, but we aren't in that bad of a position all things considered. We should still qualify in the cl, possibly by even winning the group. We are 4th in the table in touching distance to 2nd, City have made a record equalling start, so Its no surprise we haven't kept pace.

Roma was a poor performance, but we need to pick ourselves up and show some pride and belief that we are still a very good side.

Mistakes have been made in the summer, hopefully it doesn't all unravel this time, and conte can keep the ship steady, starting with Sunday, as it will be a brutal international break, full of stories and palpable discord, and mutiny, should we get beat.

Fingers crossed we come out fighting.

Can't say I see us winning but a draw is possible, though, in this case with city on their current form it's all about staying within touching distance till they eventually hit a bad patch. it's always been tough for us at the bridge, I think we've won twice there in 20 odd seasons? That's says all I need to know about Sunday's game.

Mourinho knows in the long run that a point is enough, everyone knows the approach he'll go, just not how he does it. Still United are lethal on the counter-attack, it could go like the cup game last year when Rashford was causing us all sorts of problems with a hit and go. Can't let that happen again.

Fancy a 1-0 home win with the goal from an unlikely source....................

If that is the case, I will get whoever wins it for us on a shirt.

Christensen definately should be starting.......we need to keep a clean sheet......we need to set our team up not to loose........as for Pochettino.....come back to me ...54 veteran when he has actually won something !

I know a poster here who would be foaming at the mouth in excitement.

I digress, I just want to see fight in this game and the players give 100%.

That's the Spirit.......Chelsea need to come out of the tunnel all Pumped up and treat this match as a Cup Final......like we did last season ......when we smashed em 4 -0 ....Actually Gary Cahill played a great game that day.....PEDRO is our early doors man to score for this upcoming match......I don't care how we play .....as long as we don't loose!

No sitting on hands tomorrow while the mancs make all the noise, we moan about kick off times, but a 4:30pm KO, gives us plenty of time to lubricate our singing voices, let's show TV audiences that the bridge can rock,  I know we are capable of it, if we can't be bothered, then that spreads to the players, I can't wait, I'm in pub from 10am for breakfast tomorrow, then making my way up to the bridge. One song we must sing is "Antonio" that will get right up" the bitter ones nose"

We lack confidence and we don't know how to fix it. United on the other hand have confidence rolling in spades.

As Mr Conte would no doubt say......"For Sure" ...Us scoring an early couple of goals will fix it....."No"........arriverdicci and Bon apetito !

That's the Spirit.....If only we had another 42,000 like minded fans singing their hearts out........come on Chelsea ......I always enjoy arriving into London by 10am to have pre-match chill out session by sinking a cheeky early doors couple of pints with my son at Victoria station wetherspoons......then onto a local pub near Stamford bridge....win or loose up the Blues!

I'm not jumping on the Cahill criticism bandwagon, he's been far from stellar but there's been plenty worse culprits, he's still among the first names on the team sheet for me. One thing he doesn't lack is desire/attitude, and this has been a bigger reason for recent poor showings than any individual errors.

Fabregas has gradually become our biggest liability, he's one of the few match winners we have in our side but since he's effectively been guaranteed a starting position he's sauntered through games, and consistently switched off (or just lost interest) when we've needed tenacity in the middle. Luiz too has been guilty of lazy play and an "oh well" body language. There's no denying they're among the best players (on paper) in our team, but it is little wonder others are underperforming around them when these are the leaders setting the example.

One of our strikers desperately needs to hit form too, the hold up play's been largely awful from both this season, and while Michy has a knack for in-box positioning and Morata's build up play have been improvements on what Costa offered us last season, if we can't retain possession under the first challenge we're going to keep putting pressure on our defence.

I'm optimistic we can get a win Sunday, but we desperately need Kante back in midfield, and a slice of luck going forward for once. A disciplined, organised performance, with the right intensity on the pitch and we should be capable of beating anyone. Roll on Sunday.

Yes spadefx....your spot on.....it's ok having tons of great technical ability ......but when things are going against us, as they are right now.......we need "all our 11 players on the pitch" .....to get fully pumped up and turn up and dig in...show maximum desire and the maximum fighting spirit attitude....and give 101 % for the Chelsea shirt they're lucky to be wearing.......if they don't show that on Sunday then conte needs to give blood more youngsters such as Ampadu etc
