January 31, 20188 yr Admit to being pleased with us signing him. I think he's a good player and I hope he's a success for us.

All we do sign young youth players, ship them to vitesse or buy over the hill players that clubs dont really want. When was the last time we went for (and got) a player of quality like a Sanchez or a Mahrez? I can't think of any, at least not in a long time Costa and Fabregas?

Fair point, Arsenal have brought in very high quality players to negate that though, obviously not quite to the same level as Sanchez but they’ve done well with the two they’ve brought in. Liverpool - I agree, VVD very good player but doesn’t link to having lost Coutinho, having said that they have a lot of attacking talent & have the guy Keita joining in summer so maybe a calculated risk to sell him when his value was so high and hope this guy can fill some of the void left.

He is pointing the finger at the staying in London part again. Be interesting to see our reaction to him. Won't get to see the arsenal fan reaction until next season. Wouldn't surprise me, he seemed to love Arsenal, but he would never play with Auba coming in.

Trolls hath no fury on a forum scorn lol .... Solanke the best player in the world ........ NOT Giroud all day mate.
January 31, 20188 yr Giroud turning down number 12 Alex Sandro's Juve squad number is 12 MARINA MUST HAVE SOMETHING PLANNED!
January 31, 20188 yr To add, he didn't play vs Forest in the cup, so is available for us in that competition as well.

This is a black day for Chelsea football club. We would have been 100 times better off throwing Solanke, Boga, Musonda and co into the team and letting them sink or swim. I agree with the bit in bold. Hopefully he proves me wrong but i don't think he will.

January 31, 20188 yr Is that what passes as humour at Joe? I've seen funnier comments on reddit. Hell Tom YOUR posts are funnier you don't need to lower yourself to that garbage. Edited January 31, 20188 yr by Stim
January 31, 20188 yr For the price it’s a pretty good signing, as a stop gap I’m happy with it. If it gives Morata a kick up the arse it’ll be worth it.

January 31, 20188 yr Let’s be grateful guys, let’s not forget we had Eto’o, Torres and Ba as our only striker options just a few years ago.

January 31, 20188 yr Maybe he can have a word with Mr. Hotline Bling. That video makes me smile. Narnarnarnananarna Giroud. Edited January 31, 20188 yr by Famous CFC

Demba Ba scored to help the thieving scousers of a title Bats scored to win us a title. See which striker we have wins us something

Thierry Henry is Arsene Wenger's Yesman number one. Doesn't bother me what he says.
January 31, 20188 yr Okay, this made me chuckle, look away if you ain't caught up with Game of Thrones: An Arsenal fan wrote this in regards to getting Auba: "Giroud to Chelsea is the biggest sacrifice since Stannis Baratheon burned his daughter alive."
January 31, 20188 yr Signing up for Chels is like going to confession, all your sins are forgiven, in this case he's forgiven for playing for that lot and scoring against CFC. Now he's in blue hope he scores a sh*tload of goals and puts AM under pressure to buck up his ideas. My only tiny critique- please OG lose the hipster beard, it blows.
January 31, 20188 yr I think the club have been contacting my mother when it comes to signings, we seem to be signing all of the players she finds good looking Edited January 31, 20188 yr by Scott Harris
