I appreciate I’m in a minority of one here and I stress that I really don’t want Liverpool to ever win a title but, I can’t get so excited about the whole thing because, whilst Liverpool failing is a good thing, Man City winning absolutely everything year in year out like Celtic do north of the border isn’t something I can get excited about.

It's a better of two evils really, that's it. 

I hate City, probably more than anyone does on this forum, but I hate Liverpool more, honestly, I hate United but if it were United v City I would want United to win it because City are dirty bastards. 

But Liverpool I just detest, their fanbase is f**king unbearable.

They won it in 2012, 2014 and 2018.  Hardly year in year out. We won it two years in the same period.

And Matin Tyler went crazy when Salah scored against us a few weeks ago, they can't ever complain about bias commentary.

I also seen one comment saying it's corrupt..........how can they say that after all of the terrible decisions that have gone in their favour all season?

I’ll tell you something about Martin Tyler, what Tyler loves is when there is a story. I don’t think he hasn’t biased towards particular teams just when there’s a story involved he lets his emotions go into overdrive.

Didn't see the match yet read the report and the Shedend comments.

Must have been an uncomfortable night for the Red side of Merseyside.

I also think Kompany is in his twilight years yet what a way to go out, for me captains need to show a bit of heart and coming forward like that and cracking it with power and so precisely was a great way to bow out this season at City.

The irony was Maguire looked to be one of the defenders that should have closed him down before that shot and Maguire himself had also shown heart at the other end by running forward and setting up Maddison.  

Next weekend now becomes quite an enthralling prospect as both face different challenges before we know who the victor will be.

As long as we get to EL final I’d be tempted to rest players for the final game. Finishing 3rd/4th is the same reward since we don’t have to go into CL qualifiers.
