Yeah I can see the message you responded to, I just fail to see what that has to do with Danny Drinkwater. He's a midfielder who played* for the club but the comparison ends there.

You may as well ask if we'd have won with Scott Parker alongside Kante, or Steve Sidwell for that matter. It's an interesting thought experiment but it's an absolute nonsense.

Kante is a super human who carried us through to the cup final and helped us win it. What clubs has Jorginho carried at any point in his career? What had he won before moving to a side that contains super human Kante? 

see what happened to Leicester before Kante played for them, during when he played for them, and then what happened after he stopped playing for them. He was a league winner before he moved to us. 

Look what happened when Kante played for us. I'll rest my case and I think with Kante in the side, we'll win more than Jorginho does at Arsenal. Please feel free to count how many passes Jorginho makes for the rest of the season but I'll support CFC getting Kante back to full fitness and tied down for a new contract. I have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive before kickoff that we’d miss him, given that Enzo had been a couple of days in London and we had no midfielders to play at the pivot, but I did not miss him at all to be honest. We’d have played the same with him in the team, so that’s that.

Has he played for the Arses today? They lost at Everton but I don’t know if he played.

Kante can't do anything without a player covering behind him, meaning without Jorginho being there. Lampard tried to just let him play as Makekele and he was sacked in no time.

IDK but it's pretty sad that Kante can't win the league without Drinkwater, if that's what you're saying...

I did a lap of the kitchen when I heard Arse had been lumbered with j5..

I don't care about his passing stats, he was slow, and our counter attacks ground to a halt when he got the ball from a defender after winning the ball back, when he then proceeded to pass ot back to the same defender ! Done my head in, glad he's gone.

Looks like Arse have done it again with one of ours who's well past his best.
